A key member of the Corporate Information Team providing high quality information for the purposes of: Performance Management Information and Reports, Commissioning information / SLA performance monitoring data, Capacity Planning (including Benchmarking and productivity), 18 weeks RTT, National Returns. The post is to provide analytical support, innovative ways of presenting information and develop new analyses to inform in the monitoring and improvement of performance with the organisation Supporting the provision of a comprehensive information and analysis service, ensuring the highest quality information is available for all internal and external corporate reporting requirements. This will involve complex analysis and interpretation of all aspects of health information. Having knowledge of Information Standards to support health care activities within the NHS, clinical disparate systems and understand case mix and patient flows and operational processes to support divisional objectives. Develop and deliver the roadmap in accordance and agreement with the Trust of the Informatics strategy. Contribute fully to the provision of a comprehensive information service in support of the corporate, contractual, clinical and performance management objectives for the Trust. Provide specialist analytical support, interpretation and reporting. Communicate complex analytical / statistical results to a range of key stakeholders across the Trust. To present findings where appropriate. Analyse, investigate and resolve complex statistical queries where there may be a range of solutions. Ensure the continuing development and provision of health related information to support the Trust. Support Senior Information colleagues in the production of the routine operational data requirements and ad hoc information requests. Responsible for the creation and production of health information reports and complex data analysis using computer software, programme languages and web technologies to support reporting requirements of Informatics, Performance and quality improvement. Develop a full understanding of the data standards, processing and application of data and information used within Trust. Responsible for ensuring information reporting requirements are met with agreed timescales. Ensure formal change control procedures are followed in the production and quality assurance of statistical analysis and information reporting outputs. Provide professional informatics advice and guidance to colleagues. Promotion of the Trusts Informatics strategy: ensure the Informatics vision/plan is understood locally through engagement with leadership and frontline teams. Support senior information colleagues with inflight work/projects, participate with activity development projects to gain knowledge of drivers, benefits, that fit with the Trusts Informatics strategy and there status (robustness plans, resourcing and governance).
