About the team
This position is for our OPF team. FIS Open Payment Framework (OPF) is a set of reusable and extensible components, frameworks, and technical services which can be assembled in different configurations to build a personalized Payment Processing System. From the Open Payment Framework, FIS has created predefined solutions around the bank payment hub, including Domestic & International payments (XCT) , SEPA Direct Debits & Credit Transfers (SEPA) , SCT INST ,UK Faster Payments ,Immediate Payments ,eBanking (EBK) ,Business Payments (BP), NPP, BACS ,US ACH.
What you will be doing
- Development managers should actively participate in the release/sprint planning phase, working closely with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and establish timelines.
- Resource allocation. Team structure are aligned with project financials.
- Development managers must anticipate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop contingency plans to address and mitigate identified risks. Also regularly monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to mitigate potential setbacks.
- Development managers liaise with onsite teams and facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to maintain product excellence.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks at various stages of development.
What you bring
- Guides and coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team. Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
- Looking for experience between 12- 17 years.
- Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
- Acts as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and to a lesser degree, important department initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiatives.
- Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of software development principles, programming languages, and industry best practices is highly valuable. Development managers should be familiar with the latest technologies to guide their teams effectively.
- Problem Solving: The ability to analyse complex issues and develop innovative solutions is key. Development managers should possess strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and make informed decisions.
- Adaptability: The dynamic nature of the development landscape requires adaptability. Development managers should be open to change, embrace new technologies, and stay updated with industry trends.
