About the role:
We are seeking a diligent and organized General Assistant Catering staff member to support our Catering department. You will get to work with the next generation of chefs in state-of-the-art kitchens.
You will get to observe and support the budding student chefs producing delightful dishes.
You will get to meet industry chefs sometimes famous chefs as part of the Hospitality & Catering Department being part of The Chef’s Forum Academy West London College - The Chefs' Forum (thechefsforum.co.uk)
The role requires a person with good communication skills to communicate with Hospitality and Catering Lecturers and students, as well as customers who will be purchasing from the takeaway service.
The role requires someone who has some catering/kitchen experience to be able to prepare ingredients trays for practical lessons, this will allow you to develop your knowledge of ingredients and commodities, both basic and exotic ingredients.
The role is to ensure that all the kitchens adhere to the food safety regulations, and health and safety regulations and that they are fit and ready for practical lessons.
