Job Description: General Manager (Seafood Wholesale)

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in execution.
- Manage the total supply chain, including supply chain management, warehouse operations, sales support, and sales.
Team Management:
- Directly manage a team of 4-5 professionals, providing leadership and guidance.
- Work collaboratively with existing teams, fostering an environment that encourages growth and excellence.
Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding the importance of a people-centric business.
- Build on existing relationships and work towards becoming the key point of contact for customers.
Industry Knowledge:
- Possess a strong understanding of wholesale, and manufacturing in the F&B or FMCG industry.
- Utilize industry knowledge to identify opportunities for business growth.
Strategic Collaboration:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on strategic initiatives while taking the lead on day-to-day operations.
- Work closely with the board to implement strategies that enhance the company's market reputation.
Succession Planning:
- Identify and nurture talent within the organization to ensure a smooth transition for future leadership roles.
- Evaluate and bridge gaps in capabilities within the existing team.
Travel and Expansion:
- Initially, minimal travel is required. However, the role in future may involve up to 4-5 trips annually for less than a week each.
- Play a pivotal role in potential business expansion.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience, preferably in wholesale and manufacturing of the F&B or FMCG industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong operational acumen with the ability to handle day-to-day, week-to-week, and month-to-month operations.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to collaborate with senior management on business growth initiatives.
- Experience in managing and mentoring teams.
Remuneration:
- During probation: $7K-$9K per month.
- After probation: $10K-$12K per month, plus profit-sharing based on individual and company performance.
