We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client's independent garage in Weston-super-Mare. The successful Vehicle Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles makes and models.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• You will need to have experience as a vehicle technician and a relevant and up to date qualification.
• You will be a person who takes great pride in your work.
• You will have incredible attention to detail and an eye for spotting things others cannot.
• You will need a full valid UK driving licence.

Job descriptionMy client who is based in Weston Super Mare is looking for a Vehicle Technician We would consider a level 3 technician.The starting basic pay for this qualification would be £26000 with a £3000 bonus potential.If someone has 2 or more years’ experience the starting pay would be £28000 + £3000A qualified service technician (would need to provide qualifications) would start on £30000 + £3000Our client reward technicians as they complete more training, so it is in the technicians interest to complete brand training.The role of the Vehicle Technician is to accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicles, working with other departments to facilitate the servicing and repairs, detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair.To ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines, fulfilling all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction whilst helping retailer to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency. Our client is seeking a Trainee Fire & Flood Restoration Technician to join them on a full-time permanent basis working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday starting on site at 8.00am with the chance to work paid overtime during busy periods throughout the year. It is essential that you hold a full driving licence to be considered for this position along with your own transport.

As a Trainee Fire & Flood Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for stripping out fixtures and fittings from residential properties following floods and fires, setting up drying equipment, heat pads etc, collecting equipment. In this role you will be fully trained to become a Fire & Flood Restoration Technician, will undergo on the job training, and will undertake relevant courses and certifications to compliment your job.

As Trainee Fire & Flood Restoration Technician, you will have come from some form of builder / labourer / construction type role where you have worked with building materials. Consideration will also be given to applicants with strong customer facing skills, installations of equipment, removals, or similar. It is essential that you have a full clean driving licence and are happy to travel across the whole of the 'TA' postcode to customer properties to undertake your work.
