What you will be doing
- Enhance the Physical Security and Facilities presence in the APAC region, as well as at the local level and establish strong working relationships and trust with key leaders and teams in the region.
- Establish strong working relationships with key individuals and teams across the offices within the APAC region which is essential to accomplishing the regional objectives Liaise with Functional and operational management to determine Security and Facility needs and ensuring that they are met.
- Commission additional security services for the region according to the identified needs of the Company. Ensure all legally mandated physical security and facilities programs are adhered to.
- Oversee the design, justification, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and management of physical security and facilities programs to optimally balance systems, staff, risk, and budget to protect employees, visitors, vendors, assets, and infrastructure.
- Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements. Direct program of contracted security services (both human and electronic) in execution of business requirements as measured by SLA’s, KPI’s, and other indicators; as well as maintain Facilities-related indicators. Serve as the primary interface and liaison with public safety organizations.
- Maintain appropriate relationships with local, state, and federal police and other related government agencies. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to direct investigations into breaches of security. Develops close working relationships with management, company peers and industry counterparts to ensure alignment of company goals with current corporate security industry and regulatory trends.
- Coordinates and implements physical security operations and activities to ensure protection of assets while ensuring optimal use of personnel and equipment. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to develop and implement facility security best practices. Assist in creating and implementing physical security and facilities procedures in accordance with corporate policies, regulations, directives, and operating procedures.
- Define, plan, coordinate, drive and execute security and facilities upgrades and retrofits for projects. To include, identifying and sourcing local vendors and providers. Ability to assess and evaluate facilities systems, conditions, and environment to make appropriate remediation actions, recommendations, and notification escalations.
- Conduct routine risk/threat assessments and make recommendations as needed to mitigate risk; as well as identify security gaps and opportunities and develop appropriate mitigation recommendations and plans from a multidisciplinary perspective.
- Research and deploy state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovative security and facility management techniques to safeguard organizational assets. Performs staff leadership role and promotes motivation through effective management and mentoring.
- Establishes goals and objectives for team performance and manages attainment of those goals. Reviews documentation created by team members and peers to provide constructive feedback. Keep senior management apprised on the status of Security and Facilities issues and initiatives.
What you bring
This is a full-time position, and typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday; but are dependent to meet the needs of the position and may require working extended hours. This position regularly may require long hours and weekend work. Domestic and global travel may be required which could be up to 15%.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management, criminal justice, security, supply chain and operations management or a closely related field (required) 7 years full-time experience performing program managerial responsibilities or highly responsible work relating to tasks assigned to this position Any combination of education and experience provided the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
