What you'll do: Join us at Liverpool City Centre (Albert Dock) Premier Innas a Maintenance Team Member. Keep the paintwork fresh as new, replace lightbulbs and fuses. Repair damaged furniture. Join our all round 'handy people' and be part of the UK's leading hospitality business, Whitbread.

To undertake the daily operational responsibility to ensure that all sites run smoothly, in direct relation to all Facilities services including housekeeping, portering, and catering services, waste management, security, fire safety, H&S signage, cleanliness including external areas such as grounds and gardens and general operational maintenance across all sites. To be the first point of contact for both clinical and non-clinical services with regard to ensuring that usage of the sites responsible, including storage space is provided in an equitable and effective manner and any unwanted items are disposed of in the appropriate manner and to monitor this on a regular basis. To manage relevant external contractors to ensure an effective value for money service. To look for ways to improve current services and contracts in the best interest of the Trust. Responsible for managing the lift/door access system, developing improved methods / systems of accessing the lift and working with all parties using the building to maximise efficiency. To work with external contractors and consultants to develop, implement and review effective systems of work within the sites responsible. To manage and ensure that all security systems and procedures are effective and known throughout all of the sites responsible. Work with NHS SMS to ensure that the sites responsible comply with SMS Directives and H&S legislation. Where necessary to develop/enhance security systems to ensure the safety of service users, carers, staff and visitors to the site. To further develop existing internal communication channels to achievethis. To be responsible for all internal and external contractual arrangements; to include being the main source of communication, coordinating, monitoring to minimise disruption. This will include external suppliers and their representatives. To be responsible for the management of all non-clinical complaints within Trust guidelines and to look for and implement corrective actions and / or problem solving techniques to reduce reoccurrences, as appropriate. To be fully aware and trained in the latest Health and Safety requirements in connection with managing an NHS site. To use this knowledge in every day issues that arise as appropriate and when necessary and through routine matters, utilising expertise from Fire Safety Service and / or Estates Officers. To facilitate the equitable use of space and the allocation of any available accommodation, where appropriate consulting with users and where necessary operating as an independent arbitrator. To ensure all MCT Directorates receive an equitable Facilities Management services within the sites responsible. To liaise with all Mental Health Care Division and Trust Wide Support Service Managers to deliver an equitable service. To work collaboratively with the Facilities Management Team on the development of Services. To operate an affective system of reporting and monitoring both incidentals, emergency and planned maintenance requirements to include monitoring the LSHP contract and other SLAs in place. To manage multi-departmental budgets, to deliver a balanced budget, and generally to ensure that all financial actions accord with the Trusts SFIs and guidelines. To have management responsibility for the procurement, maintenance and monitoring of all physical assets and supplies for multiple departments within the sites responsible. We are looking for an Estate Technician to join our Estate Services team, based in Liverpool. This role will involve working in a team of 2 carrying out grounds maintenance tasks, the removal of fly tipping and general cleaning tasks including clearing of properties, replacing fencing, paving, landscaping and general caretaking duties across various sites in the North West. A van and tools will be provided to assist in this role. Development opportunities are available within the team for you to develop your skills and career.

The role of Estate Technician will include:

- Grass cutting, litter picking and gutter cleaning
- Completing daily work records and maintaining stock levels
- Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a useable condition
- Providing accurate information and updates on the progress of allocated work


Skills and experiences:

- Some practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery an advantage
- Working knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Recent experience in interpreting written instructions and maintaining simple written records

Job Overview

Our Vehicle Maintenance Technicians:

• Carry out preventative vehicle maintenance and servicing, MOT preparation and repairs to a high standard

We are currently seeking an interim Clinicals Technician (Hot Room), to work with our global FMCG client, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position is based at our client's scientific Research & Development facility in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral easily accessible by train and car. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 6 months. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £12.29 per hour, depending upon experience.

Working Hours:

• Perform, accurately and reproducibly, the key elements of hot room test protocols, including product applications, sweat collection and sweat weighing; provide accurate documentation of test data

• Set-up and conduct of hot room tests using menu driven computer applications
• Organise the recruitment, and complete the screening, of new subjects for the hot room panel
• Organise and deliver the annual consenting and medical screening update for the established hot room panel
• Participate in the routine work associated with the various protocols; this involves, for example: labelling test products; use of balances; organising product retains; processing documentation archiving
• Use of standard computer-based packages to (e.g. Word, JMP and web-based systems) within study preparation and conduct
• Conduct of Aluminium swabbing detection test

Key Skills Required

• Be female, due to the nature of test and the use of female panellists.
• Demonstrate the ability to work accurately under pressure (e.g. time constraints)
• Be numerate and literate to GCSE level, or equivalent
• Experience with computer-based systems, e.g. analysis and data storage systems, would be advantageous.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the self-integrity to be able to conduct the tests in a mature, courteous manner.

Overview of role


Location: Liverpool Hotplate
We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the Liverpool Hotplate team and support our Engineering agenda. The role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer is a varied and challenging one and the ideal candidate will be able to carry out proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to the plant and services associated with a major bakery. Responsibilities also involve improving and maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring that team members are fully aware and comply with all Health and Safety standards, company and legal requirements eg: Isolation and Lock Off, Permit to Work, COSSH and HACCP.
This is a day based role that also includes providing holiday cover for the four shift electricians who work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights).




Key Accountabilities


You will be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment; you will be expected to diagnose faults and install, repair, inspect, calibrate and overhaul plant / machinery electrically as well as mechanically to maximise machine availability and ensure continuous improvements within the plant and facilities in compliance with Health and Safety, GMP and best-proactive guidelines and procedures to ensure right first time processing of manufactured products.
Other duties include:

- To maintain a safe working environment through the use of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Clean as You Go (CAYG), Hazard reporting and Point of Work Risk Assessment procedures.
- To support the manufacturing process and maximise plant availability by responding safely and effectively to plant breakdowns, carry out scheduled maintenance work and being proactive in the correction and modification of reoccurring machine faults
- To ensure that machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard
- To fault find in a safe and effective manner, to identify root cause of plant breakdowns.
- To work along side and have harmonious relations with operational staff and to work flexibly with them.
- To ensure that the findings of inspections, reporting of faults and the completion of all scheduled work is reported on the Computer Maintenance Management System.

Plus, any other duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of the role. The above list of accountabilities is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to undertake duties as may be reasonably expected.




The Right Person


We are looking for a fully qualified (time served) Electrical Maintenance Engineer with industry experience, ideally with mechanical / multi-skilled ability as well. The ideal candidate will:

- have experience in FMCG environment, ideally food sector
- have excellent analytical skills and be PC literate
- have PLC and servo drive diagnostic (Mitsubishi) experience
- have basic food hygiene experience
- be a team player and have excellent communication skills
- be flexible and co-operative to assist in meeting business needs.
