Job summary Morley and District Primary Care Network are recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to join our PCN Clinical Pharmacy Team. This is a new and exciting role, and will help shape and form the layout of our local healthcare offer in Morley, Leeds. SPS Technician, receives contaminated critical and semi-critical reusable medical equipment (RME) in the decontamination area, and may receive noncritical equipment as well. Disassembles the RME and determines the correct cleaning method, such as, but not limited to, ultrasonic cleaners, mechanical washers/disinfectors, Trophon EPR, and chemical cleaning/decontamination agents, as determined by manufacturer instructions. Inspects, assembles and determines the correct method and packaging for sterilization, such as, but not limited to steam, Trophon EPR, and high level disinfecting. Performs and documents daily operational checks and records for all processes and equipment.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Determines correct method for cleaning and disinfection, then removes soil, blood, tissue fragments, body fluids, and other contaminants by wiping, soaking, rinsing, scrubbing, and use of ultrasonic equipment and washer/disinfectors.
• differentiates if the items will be sterilized or will be processed using High Level Disinfection (HLD) methods based on the Spaulding Classifications of the item being reprocessed. Items determined to require HLD are reprocessed using an Automatic Endoscope Reprocessor (AER) or manual methods and approved quality controls for the process. All items reprocessed using HLD must also be properly rinsed to remove the disinfecting agent.
• Monitors performance of sterilizers for quality control by conducting bacteriological tests.
• The incumbent quarantines any implantable items during the testing period and complies with the VA Policy for Early Release of Implantable Devices by assuring that the proper, paperwork is completed and signed by the Chief of Staff or the designee before releasing those implants if the 3-hour biological monitoring process is not completed before the implants are needed.
• Unloads sterilized trays, sets and packs from sterilizers, during which time all items are inspected for visual changes to external chemical indicators which shows that the item or package has been exposed to the physical conditions of a sterilizing cycle.
• Places a stamped date and control number on each sterilized item indicating the expiration date. Incumbent stocks sterile items on shelves or delivery carts on a first-in, first-out basis for rotation.
• Provides training and orientation to medical personnel on sterile supply techniques and procedures.

Hours: 40 hours per week. This is a permanent shift role that rotates on a weekly basis. The shifts will cover:

Week 1: Days - 06:00 to 14:30

What you'll be doing;

• Operate Mobile plant to ensure efficient plant operation and recyclate collection
  
• Operating the plant SCADA system when trained
  
• General cleaning of equipment, structure and floor within the Mechanical Pre Treatment (MPT) including baling hall and yard, shredders, trommels, ballistic separators and all mobile plant to name but a few
  
• Assisting with the supervision of contractors and visitors to the site
  
• Wearing of correct PPE
  
• Reporting all safety & plant / equipment issues
  
• Working as a team and maintain contact with others
  
• Using handrails and marked walkways when moving around site
  
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy from litter and spillages
  
• Stop the Job and report any safety issues to your Supervisor
  
• Checking all equipment, tools and machinery before using them
  
• Knowing where and how to use the emergency stops
  
• Clearing of blockages
  
• Basic isolations of plant to ensure own and staff safety (LOTO)
  

What we're looking for;

• Full UK driving licence
  
• Understanding of Health and safety policies and procedures
  
• Mobile plant licence and experience is desirable

Your new companyHays Technology are recruiting an AV Technician to join a large public sector organisation based in the Leeds area. You will be reporting to the AV Manager.
Your new roleIn your new role, you will administer and operating the Media loans counter booking service and Help Desk operations in support of all Audio-Visual activities onsite and ensure that both staff and students have access to appropriate resources. You will be helping manage, monitor and coordinate activities with academics, students and other key stakeholders to successfully deliver projects, maintenance work, and daily operational activities.
You will be providing online and in class technical support for events, open days, and class activities. This includes the provision of online and in-person guidance and demonstration in the use of relevant software and technologies. You will also be liaising with other technical staff to ensure operation and instruction materials are appropriate to the facility and the users to ensure maximum benefit from the technology.
What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in providing first line technical support and preventive maintenance of Audi-Visual facilities in an educational or corporate environment
• Experience in overseeing daily AV and helpdesk operations and prioritising issues based on urgency and tracking their resolution progress
• Good understanding of complex Audi-Visual systems and their integration with IT systems and networks
• Proficiency with wireless presentation technologies, lecture capture, MS Teams rooms, AV control systems
• Experience in working with cross-functional stakeholders to thoroughly understand AV requirements, coordinate, and set up events and activities
