Enitial (a division of Cawood Scientific) currently have an opportunity for an Environmental Technician working within our Field Services Team. This role will conduct routine monitoring cross-functionally across Enitial services and activities, primarily on open and closed landfill, pre-construction and utilities.

The role requires daily travel to sites across the region and outdoor working. Often working autonomously, the ideal candidate will take responsibility for managing their own hours, working flexibly to ensure all work requirements are completed fully.

Due to the nature of the role, a company vehicle will be provided. Candidates must hold a full UK driving license to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine environmental monitoring across our three service areas of
Water, Construction and Compliance in accordance with company protocols,
quality assurance requirements and our client’s contract specifications.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of environmental control systems
and client infrastructure.
• Provide a reliable, efficient, and professional level of service to our clients.
• Liaise with clients on-site building a level of trust that leads to dependable, long
term and positive relationships.
• Maintain Enitial’s credibility by being the face of Enitial in the field and always
portraying a positive image by keeping equipment, vehicles, and PPE clean.
• Respect company equipment and vehicles ensuring routine calibrations and
maintenance is completed in line with company protocols.
• Work as a team within regions building and maintaining morale and actively
offer help and assistance wherever possible.
• Report any deviations from methods or non-conformances through to Area
Managers, Data Analysts and Account Managers that could impact upon data
integrity or data gaps.
• Manage time efficiently, reviewing own schedules and reporting through to the
Scheduling / Project Controller ways in which works could be conducted more
effectively.
• Manage data accurately and in line with client / company requirements. Report
data through to the Data Analysts timely and in the correct format.
• Responsible for keeping safety at the forefront of field works and being
proactive ensuring accidents and near misses are always reported
straightaway to the Area Managers and client in line with our company
accreditation and policy.
• Always compliant with the ‘Stay Safe’ remote working application when
working out on-site.
• Liaise with laboratories and couriers ensuring samples taken in the field are
always, to the best of your ability, compliant.
• Assist with on-site training of new employees providing proactive support
ensuring there onboarding into the company is friendly, engaging, and
inspiring.
• Provide routine company admin through to central systems including expenses
and vehicle checks on a monthly basis.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
• Full UK Driving License
• Passion and experience of working outdoors and prepared to work in all
weathers.
• Proven track record in problem solving and being proactive.
• Ability to work on own and manage own time proficiently.
• Exemplary communications when working remotely.
• Willingness to engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Flexible working hours, happy to work weekends, travel and overnight stays
away from home.
• Some experience in environmental monitoring would be an advantage but not
necessary as full training is provided.

This is an exciting opportunity for a General Farm Technician to join our growing team based at Suffolk Rural, Otley, which is a specialist land-based campus within East Anglia, just 9 miles outside of Ipswich.

The General Farm Technician will assist with day-to-day duties on the Farm to support both our commercial operations and our learners studying land-based qualifications. Training to use specialist equipment and systems will be provided where needed.

We are looking for relevant industry experience and formal industry tickets to support the work required on the land. Ideally you will have some experience of working with young people, record keeping and farm management systems.

You will be key in providing cross-site support in the delivery of the high cost drugs and biologics agenda, ensuring high quality and cost effective medicines are introduced as part of the medicines optimisation strategy. You will also support on developing the trust medicines formulary.

You will join the team of high cost drugs and biologics pharmacists, providing your expertise as a pharmacy technician to model this new job in accordance with the departmental vision.

Further professional learning and development opportunities are available including leadership courses provided by the trust.

ESNEFT is about to embark on a full site wide implementation of the EPIC electronic patient record which includes electronic prescribing and administration as well as pharmacy stock control system.

In addition to our fully automated dispensaries, we host one of the NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service medicines advice sites and the Regional Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit (including a brand new Aseptic facility).
• Work with the team of senior pharmacists in the delivery of the high cost drugs agenda.
• Engage with clinical teams to ensure appropriate use of high cost drugs ensuring that they are used in line with commissioning policies, monitoring and data collection requirements.
• Support the Finance Team in the completion and resolution of high cost drug challenges raised by NHSE and ICB.
• Ensure that high cost drugs are implemented and delivered safely and with high quality in conjunction with the senior pharmacists.
• Monitor the drug expenditure against budgets for the high cost drugs including Homecare medicines and support in implementing agreed changes required to make cost savings.
• Assist the senior pharmacists in collaborating with prescribers to switch patients to cost-effective alternatives when appropriate.
• Review and monitor adherence to the medicines formulary and prioritise cost-effective drugs.
• Work with the senior pharmacists and clinicians to ensure the safe and effective implementation of new medicines within the Trust.
• Undertake ward and dispensary duties
• Provide education and training to other staff on high cost drugs.
