We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, forward-thinking and suitably qualified individual to join our outstanding team and make a difference. Working closely with the Trust Estates Manager and school’s Site Operations Officer, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for the management of key areas and activities relating to the school’s site and facilities. Duties will include in-house project management for building related projects, site development, asset management planning, contract management, and carbon reduction and sustainability issues. You will also be the lead officer for health and safety.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player, self-directed in noticing where things need attention and be proactive. You will be based on the school site and will be responsible for the management and supervision of the schools site team as well as monitoring the work of contractors on site, ensuring that they work safely, to specification and timescales, and holding them accountable where they do not.

You will plan and prioritise your own workload and be able to provide adequate cover for holiday, out of school hours and emergency call out where required.
