Overview:

As a Procurement & Sourcing Executive, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the acquisition of technical related goods and services required by the organization.

Your role involves sourcing for suppliers, coordinating with them for their services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products at the best possible value. Your attention to detail, negotiation skills, and ability to manage procurement processes will contribute to the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the organization's operations.

Candidates with experience of sourcing within the Oil and Gas Industry will be advantageous and preferred. (previous engineering equipment/parts sourcing is a minimum requirement)

Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Supplier Management :

• Identify potential overseas and local suppliers, assess their capabilities, and evaluate their products or services based on quality, price, and reliability.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and address any issues or concerns to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

Purchase Order Processing :

• Receive and review purchase requisitions from various departments and project teams within the organization.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders to approved suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order details.
• Monitor purchase orders to track delivery schedules, resolve discrepancies, and expedite orders as necessary.

Contract Negotiation and Management :

• Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms, to achieve optimal value for the organization.
• Draft and review contract documents, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor contract performance, enforce contract terms, and resolve disputes or deviations from agreed-upon terms.

Cost Analysis and Savings Initiatives :

• Analyze historical and past procurement data and spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives, such as bulk purchasing, vendor consolidation, and strategic sourcing strategies.
• Monitor and report on procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance with procurement policies.

Compliance and Risk Management :

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations, including ethical sourcing practices and supplier diversity initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments of suppliers and supply chain processes to mitigate potential risks related to quality, reliability, or sustainability.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, forex trends and law & regulatory changes affecting procurement activities.

Qualifications :

• Candidate with formal qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field will be evaluated favorably.
• At least 5 years proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management roles, preferably in an Oil & Gas, Power or other related technical industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in procurement software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English – however the ability to communicate in other languages will be a bonus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, FIDIC form of contract will be desirable.

Your new role

Your new job working as a Senior Broker Support Technician will be responsible for providing a quality technical service to Brokers covering all aspects of their insurance.
You will be responsible for the production of MRC slips and endorsements. You will also be responsible for working closely with Placing Brokers, Producing Brokers, colleagues and clients. The role will inched the analysis of data under existing Binding Authority Agreements. Dealing with Market statistics (PI / Earned to Incurred etc). Preparation of MRC slips and endorsements, as well as updating and maintaining monthly Earned to Incurred statistics. Compiling and maintaining risk level data for Binding Authority Agreements. Knowledge and use of Lloyd's systems eg DComm/Lineage (would be advantageous). You will also produce open market MRC Slips and Endorsements on occasions.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician dealing with Non Marine or Property risks emanating ideally from North America will contribute to your success in securing this role. Experience of Binding Authorities as well as DComm/Lineage would be advantageous. You will be technically astute and ideally, you will have an experience in MRC slip production and endorsements. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbally. Cross training to NA Property and Transportation will be offered

You will assist with annual appraisals of the Pharmacy Technicians and Assistant team members, and mentor and train medicines optimisation staff using specialist knowledge and experience, to ensure all staff are working to a high standard.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Pharmacy Technician you will manage on a daily basis the Medicines Management Service at HMP Swaleside. You will manage the medicines administration, as well as the printing and coordination of the repeat prescription service. As well as this, you will monitor the performance of the medicines optimisation technicians when placed at HMP Swaleside and implement remedial action should an issue arise. You will assist with annual appraisals of the Pharmacy Technicians and Assistant team members, and mentor and train medicines optimisation staff using specialist knowledge and experience, to ensure all staff are working to a high standard.

What do you need?

• NVQ level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent
• Accredited Checking Technician Certificate
• Registration with GPhC as a pharmacy technician
• 5 years’ experience of working in a pharmacy
• Excellent organisational skills

Desirable

• NVQ A1 assessors award
• ACT Facilitator
• Minimum of 4 years’ prison or hospital pharmacy experience
• 2 years mental health experience
• Management experience

We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Maintenance Technician (QT) to join our team in our Runcorn Distribution Centre as a Senior Maintenance Technician. This role involves responsibility for Planned Preventative Maintenance, system breakdowns, defect repair and general upkeep of the depot facilities and automation ensuring that system cleanliness and condition is kept to a high standard.

To assist and manage on site projects, technical repairs and technicians workloads ensuring correct. Ensuring all Maintenance of high volume picking machinery and other ancillary equipment is up to date and operational at all times. Immediate response to any breakdowns to the production equipment in accordance with the production hours. Engage and manage contractors including obtaining/providing permits to work, risk assessments and method statements.

Working Pattern

Working hours: 39.38 Hours per week

Working Pattern:

Two week rotation with 1 in 4 Sunday

Week 1 ; 05:00 - 13:15

Week 2; 13:00 - 21:15 Sunday; 06:00 - 14:00

Your new role
In your new role you will be expected to provide Claims support in the broking of Casualty and Specialty Insurance Claims, process claims bordereau, update claims movement and non-cash collection information on to the ECF system, maintain and update relevant Claims information and advise the Head of Claims of overdue account collections and/or claim concerns or issues.

You will also need to be capable of working alongside the Finance and Operations teams to ensure prompt payment of claim bordereau and cash calls and keep Clients advised of anticipated and actual settlement timelines.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will need previous Lloyds Claims processing experience of Casualty Claims with previous Specialty Claims experience of Marine and Financial Lines Claims being preferred.
