Overview:

As a Procurement & Sourcing Executive, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the acquisition of technical related goods and services required by the organization.

Your role involves sourcing for suppliers, coordinating with them for their services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products at the best possible value. Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Supplier Management :

• Identify potential overseas and local suppliers, assess their capabilities, and evaluate their products or services based on quality, price, and reliability.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and address any issues or concerns to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

Purchase Order Processing :

• Receive and review purchase requisitions from various departments and project teams within the organization.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders to approved suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order details.
• Monitor purchase orders to track delivery schedules, resolve discrepancies, and expedite orders as necessary.

Contract Negotiation and Management :

• Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms, to achieve optimal value for the organization.
• Draft and review contract documents, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor contract performance, enforce contract terms, and resolve disputes or deviations from agreed-upon terms.

Cost Analysis and Savings Initiatives :

• Analyze historical and past procurement data and spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives, such as bulk purchasing, vendor consolidation, and strategic sourcing strategies.
• Monitor and report on procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance with procurement policies.

Compliance and Risk Management :

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations, including ethical sourcing practices and supplier diversity initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments of suppliers and supply chain processes to mitigate potential risks related to quality, reliability, or sustainability.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, forex trends and law & regulatory changes affecting procurement activities.

Qualifications :

• Candidate with formal qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field will be evaluated favorably.
• At least 5 years proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management roles, preferably in an Oil & Gas, Power or other related technical industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in procurement software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English – however the ability to communicate in other languages will be a bonus.

The Senior Technician Reviewer (STR), is responsible for some of the most complicated, difficult, and unusual assignments and projects in the Branch. As a General Attorney (Tax) - Senior Technician Reviewer, you will:

• Act as a legal and technical consultant to the Branch Chief, Deputy Associate Chief Counsel, Associate Chief Counsel, and, as assigned, to other officials in the Office of Chief Counsel on some of the most difficult, important, and complex professional legal and policy matters concerned with the work of the Branch, or which may affect the work of other Branches of the office, or other components of the Chief Counsel's Office. Considers questions that have broad legal ramifications and renders appropriate decisions. About the opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Maintenance Technician (QT) to join our team in our Runcorn Distribution Centre as a Senior Maintenance Technician. This role involves responsibility for Planned Preventative Maintenance, system breakdowns, defect repair and general upkeep of the depot facilities and automation ensuring that system cleanliness and condition is kept to a high standard.

To assist and manage on site projects, technical repairs and technicians workloads ensuring correct. Ensuring all Maintenance of high volume picking machinery and other ancillary equipment is up to date and operational at all times. Immediate response to any breakdowns to the production equipment in accordance with the production hours. Engage and manage contractors including obtaining/providing permits to work, risk assessments and method statements.

Working Pattern

Working hours: 39.38 Hours per week

Working Pattern:

Two week rotation with 1 in 4 Sunday

Week 1 ; 05:00 - 13:15

Week 2; 13:00 - 21:15 Sunday; 06:00 - 14:00

Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Operations Technician within the Marine Operations team, means you will have an excellent level of Technical Insurance knowledge to both process and support managers and team members in a technical capacity and provide support and assistance to the team in India. Duties will also include end to end premium processing, creating timely and accurate accounting transactions using Global XB. You will have a strong understanding and experience working with the Bureau in the workings of accounting and settlement protocols, extensive understanding of MRCs, working knowledge of Lineslips and Binding Authorities. Further duties include attending business unit, client, underwriter or marker meetings, providing technical input where required, understanding of resources available in relation to current Tax and VAT requirements, coordinating and reporting on revenue at business unit level. The role includes working within the Accounting and Credit Control Team, with accountability to support to clear all Financial Disciplines (bad debt, unallocated cash, uncollected brokerage, held funds, funding and signings) assigned to them in accordance with internal SLA's or escalated accordingly.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician (Back end premium processing) within a Lloyd's Insurance Broker with experience in dealing with the Bureaux will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will be able to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and technical support within their respective team, business units and/or associated clients and markets, create timely and accurate accounting transactions and premium signings. You will have attention to detail and accuracy, a high level of accountability and problem-solving, self-motivation, can work with a degree of autonomy, strong computer skills and robust communication skills.

Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Operations Technician means you will be acting as the go to person for all technical auditing, authorisation and issuance support. You will have an ability to demonstrate excellent technical insurance knowledge and understanding of the industry and its regulators. Your new job will be responsible for auditing and authorising invoices and evidence of cover documentation as well as ensuring the documentation is compliant with the information agreed within the Market Reform Contract Slip and any associated instruction or schedule. What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience as working as a Technician within a Lloyd's Broker handling any of the following classes Property, Liability, Marine, Construction, Financial Lines and Fine Art will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally, you will have a strong understanding and experience in checking and auditing invoices and all types of evidence of cover documents. Your new job working as a Senior Technician will require you to manage own workload and time to maximise efficiency and be able to manage a team by mentoring, training and guiding members of the team. You will report to the Binding Authority Director. Duties will include undertaking ongoing communication with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate production of documentation, chasing and monitoring premiums under terms of trade, diarising, tracking and chasing subjectivities, proposal forms and surveys. Other duties include developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues within the division and across the company, actively participating in regular team discussions and acting as a point of contact for junior members of the team. Further duties include processing and producing debit notes and closings as well as submitting to Bureaux, maintaining electronic filing systems, making and reconciling payments to Bureau under terms of trade, liaising with clients and Underwriters, dealing with complex issues and queries from brokers and clients. Also, providing regular feedback to the reporting manager, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures, assisting with special projects, proactively networking to expand market knowledge and recording Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience as a Senior Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have at least 5 years of insurance experience and proven and practical experience of applying competencies to a level outlined above. You will also need 5 GCSEs at C or 5 and above or A Levels, including Maths and English and Lloyd's Market LM1 and LM2. Desirably you will be working towards your ACII, but it is not essential.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Pharmacy Technician you will manage on a daily basis the Medicines Management Service at HMP Swaleside. You will manage the medicines administration, as well as the printing and coordination of the repeat prescription service. As well as this, you will monitor the performance of the medicines optimisation technicians when placed at HMP Swaleside and implement remedial action should an issue arise. You will assist with annual appraisals of the Pharmacy Technicians and Assistant team members, and mentor and train medicines optimisation staff using specialist knowledge and experience, to ensure all staff are working to a high standard.

What do you need?

• NVQ level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent
• Accredited Checking Technician Certificate
• Registration with GPhC as a pharmacy technician
• 5 years’ experience of working in a pharmacy
• Excellent organisational skills

• NVQ A1 assessors award
• ACT Facilitator
• Minimum of 4 years’ prison or hospital pharmacy experience
• 2 years mental health experience
