Understanding of membrane fouling, scaling, cleaning, antiscalant dosage are crucial for a steady operation of membrane processes like ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis etc. Candidate will be performing experiments towards development of anti-scaling agents to counter CaCO3, CaSO4, CaF2 and SiO2 scaling. The Role

We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Community Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities Team. Based primarily at The Campus, a vibrant hub for Herons’ Moor Academy, Baytree School, Locking Castle Children’s Centre, and various leisure and library facilities, you will play a key role in keeping our spaces functional, safe, and welcoming. This hands-on role involves a variety of physical tasks and occasional manual handling, making it ideal for someone who enjoys an active workday.

You’ll work a 3 week rolling rota schedule that includes early shifts (6 am–12:30 pm), late shifts (2 pm–10 pm), and one weekend in three. As part of your duties, you’ll also support other North Somerset Council sites, such as Somerset Hall in Portishead, where you will perform tasks like setting up for events, cleaning beer lines, and conducting compliance checks.
