Both properties have together 74 suites & studio apartments which come fully equipped with everything our guests will need to make themselves settle in and feel at home – a comfy bed, an efficiently designed kitchenette and space to unwind as well as laundry facilities on site.

The Lincoln Suites and Stow Away – Waterloo offers guests a unique experience from traditional hotels. With us you will find somewhere that feels like a home. All our rooms have more living and working space than you would find in a conventional hotel guest room. Reporting to the Cluster General Manager, your core purpose will be:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Tasks includes –
Maintain and develop the maintenance reporting procedure to ensure that Hotel defects are reported, recorded and repaired as quickly as possible
Lead a daily schedule for the hotel maintenance team in response to guest feedback, general hotel requirements from The General Manager and department requests in accordance with the preventative maintenance plan
Responsible for all Hotel’s on-site contractor activity ensuring they all comply with H&S.
Assists in managing the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems.
Establish and manage an effective room maintenance program.
Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, and the replacement of furnishings and equipment.
Develop, implement and manage all health and safety policies, including raising awareness within the Hotels and issuing all permits to work.
Ensure statutory compliance checks are carried out in accordance with current legislation and company policy, in a timely manner and that findings are recorded in the appropriate place and any necessary action taken.
Ensure all equipment are maintained in good working order and all necessary checks are regularly completed.
Carry out training as necessary to ensure all staff work safely, and to the required company standard.
To identify and report hazards and maintenance requirements.
Carry out regular checks on work to help illustrate an improvement in the quality and finish of the Hotels.
Ensure that any subcontractor on-site works to the required standard, completes all the necessary paperwork and completes the job to the specification set out.
Maintain continued improvement in the Environmental performance of Hotels and monitor.
Ensure materials are kept safe, accounted for, and also ensure a base stock of certain items is at hand to make speedy repairs.
To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety, Licensing and Employment Law, and water hygiene to ensure that members of the Team are also aware of these requirements.
Maintain stock control and process orders
Be part of the escalation process and be available to attend emergencies when necessary
Develop and maintain relationships with our preferred suppliers to drive quality.
Undertake mains repairs in a timely and efficient manner minimising disruption to guests
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
Great attention to detail.
Is proficient in painting and decorating.
IT literate
Have previous experience working in hotels.
Be hands-on.
Can demonstrate an understanding of budgeting control management and planning.
Excellent understanding of Health and Safety in the Workplace..
Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills within buildings.
Have experience of managing projects/staff
Experience of working with and managing contractors
Fluency in English.
A sense of humour.
