Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Technician will require you to manage own workload and time to maximise efficiency and be able to manage a team by mentoring, training and guiding members of the team. You will report to the Binding Authority Director. Duties will include undertaking ongoing communication with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate production of documentation, chasing and monitoring premiums under terms of trade, diarising, tracking and chasing subjectivities, proposal forms and surveys. Other duties include developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues within the division and across the company, actively participating in regular team discussions and acting as a point of contact for junior members of the team. Further duties include processing and producing debit notes and closings as well as submitting to Bureaux, maintaining electronic filing systems, making and reconciling payments to Bureau under terms of trade, liaising with clients and Underwriters, dealing with complex issues and queries from brokers and clients. Also, providing regular feedback to the reporting manager, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures, assisting with special projects, proactively networking to expand market knowledge and recording Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience as a Senior Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have at least 5 years of insurance experience and proven and practical experience of applying competencies to a level outlined above. You will also need 5 GCSEs at C or 5 and above or A Levels, including Maths and English and Lloyd's Market LM1 and LM2. Desirably you will be working towards your ACII, but it is not essential.

Your new role
As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be directly responsible for the maintenance, repair and calibration of equipment relating to their specific manufacturing process. This role will place an emphasis on adhering to a planned preventative maintenance schedule alongside reactionary maintenance as and when needed. This role operates on a four on, four off shift pattern, two days followed by two nights.

Your new role

Your new job working as a Senior Broker Support Technician will be responsible for providing a quality technical service to Brokers covering all aspects of their insurance.
You will be responsible for the production of MRC slips and endorsements. You will also be responsible for working closely with Placing Brokers, Producing Brokers, colleagues and clients. The role will inched the analysis of data under existing Binding Authority Agreements. Dealing with Market statistics (PI / Earned to Incurred etc). Preparation of MRC slips and endorsements, as well as updating and maintaining monthly Earned to Incurred statistics. Compiling and maintaining risk level data for Binding Authority Agreements. Knowledge and use of Lloyd's systems eg DComm/Lineage (would be advantageous). You will also produce open market MRC Slips and Endorsements on occasions.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician dealing with Non Marine or Property risks emanating ideally from North America will contribute to your success in securing this role. Experience of Binding Authorities as well as DComm/Lineage would be advantageous. You will be technically astute and ideally, you will have an experience in MRC slip production and endorsements. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbally. Cross training to NA Property and Transportation will be offered

Your new job working as a Technician means you will be working on a range of areas, including, Binders, Open Market and Lineslips, with some in house binder business. Duties will include premium Bordereaux processing and submissions to Xchanging in conjunction with the Broker Binding Authority System, processing and registering binders on Lineage as well as the use of DCOM, DDM and DAM. Your new role

Your new job working as a Binding Authority Technician means you will be responsible for providing technical support for Certain Coverholders within a specialist team. Supporting the brokers and working directly with Underwriters and Coverholders to support their business throughout the year as well as binding and issuing Policy documentation to USA based agents which will provide a detailed insight into the various products and rating process.

Your new job working as an Account handler/Technician will be responsible for preparation and issuance of multimillion dollar Binding Authority Agreements, supporting the brokers and working directly with Underwriters and Coverholders to support their business as well as binding and issuing Policy documentation to USA based. Duties will include creating and checking and sending Binding Authority Agreements (BAAs) and Endorsements, Drafting and checking Sending third party BAAs to the coverholder. Registering on DCOM, Setting up and ensuring it is signed by Xchanging, maintaining and ensuring ATLAS is up to date. Other duties will include liaising with Brokers, Underwriters, Coverholders and Agents. Preparation of monthly Risk Level Data/Aggregates and Statistics, monitoring any significant

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician, ideally with Binders or dealing with coverholders business or from a Broker or Insurer. Experience in handling UK, North American and or International business will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have Good spoken and written communication skills, accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

Your new role

In your new role you will be working as a Marine (Hull & Machinery) Claims Handler, meaning you will be responsible for handling a variety of high value and contentious Marine Hull & Machinery Claims from first notification of loss through to settlement covering Marine Hull & Machinery Claims. Whilst handling these Claims from cradle to grave, you will also be expected to process the claim, manage their movements and set up initial advice logging each relevant movement on the internal/ECF system.

You will also be responsible for managing key accounts, specifically maintaining and building on the current Claims relationship, including regular meetings and providing Claims reports to senior stakeholders of the business. You will be working closely with the Cargo placing team, keeping them abreast with updates and relevant trends in the market and reporting directly to the Claims manager.

What you will need to succeed

In order to succeed you will need significant Marine Hull & Machinery claims experience, and you will need an in-depth understanding of how the market works right through to placement, with a strong understanding of how policies are structured, how premiums have been signed to relevant different policy sections, and a good understanding of all market systems and how they fit together.

You will have a high degree of knowledge and experience using the ECF/CLASS system, you will be analytical and have excellent experience using Microsoft office, especially EXCEL.

Your new role
Working as a Technician, you will be responsible for producing documentation, predominantly MRCs and Endorsements, also some Certificate issuance. You will be responsible for preparing and typing of letters / emails and other correspondence, maintaining online filing and archiving systems, entering data onto the Global system as well as obtaining Bureau Signings and arranging extension to terms of trade. Other duties will include dealing with queries from Brokers and clients as well as calculating pro-rata/short rate additional/return premiums. This opportunity will be handling a mix of Binders and some open Market risks

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician handling NA Binder business
ideally handling Non Marine or Property business who has experience in producing endorsements/slips, ideally with knowledge in Forestry business ( this is not essential)
will contribute to your success in securing this role. The workload is heavy at times, so they are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, personable and a good team player.

Your new role
In your new role working as a Treaty Reinsurance Account Technician who can provide technical accounting support for an expanding and successful Lloyd's reinsurance broker handling all forms of Reinsurance business. Your new role will be to ensure that all documentation produced for clients and underwriters is issued and that signing of treaty accounts and all other related technical functions are finalised on each treaty account. Ensuring the accuracy of the treaty processing and records as well as scheduling and prioritising the workload of the non-bureau IBA team. You will also prepare weekly/monthly reports on volumes of treaty accounts received and processed, as well as prepare ad hoc reports and statistical preparation. Other duties will include making sure processing treaty accounts are implemented at all times, liaising internally with all divisions when a problem or query arises regarding the processing of a technical treaty account


What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Reinsurance Treaty Accounts Technician with in-depth knowledge of Treaty accounts will contribute to your success in this role. You will have experience in the production and preparation of various technical documents, Knowledge of computerised filing systems, monitoring, and a reasonable understanding of reinsurance structures and market insurance.
