Role Purpose

• The primary role of the Senior Consultant – Workplace Strategist is to manage workplace and portfolio strategy projects, conduct their own research, and data gathering and analysis in the development of advisory solutions for clients.
• The consultant will bring skills to build the analytical capabilities with the use of dashboards and data mining.
• The Senior Consultant will complete reports, proposal writing, presentations and will provide some client interface with regards to interviews, observations and focus groups.
• This requires the Senior Consultant to collaborate with senior team members and brokerage professionals on every part of the consulting process including working with clients to understand their business and develop recommendation

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• With senior team member, manage client project from scope definition to delivery
• With senior team member, develop and communicate project hypotheses and conclusions
• Create project schedules, activities, and final reports
• Coordination of workplace design, change management and technology best practices and solutions with the client’s culture, business and people
• Synthesize the output gained from floor plans, occupancy data, technology assumptions, observations, surveys, interviews and focus groups into opportunities and recommendations for client presentation materials including people, place, technology recommendations and space metrics
• Conduct workplace research and analysis in support of client projects and development of white papers and publications
• Oversee and participate in the development and presentation of materials and ensure the final product is succinct and delivers a powerful message.
• Using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other applicable presentation tools, outline then review models for client presentations  Ensure presentations are clear, address client questions and goals.
• Review quantitative and qualitative analysis of data
• Use excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively influence clients.
• Look for and make recommendations to apply new industry tools/technology to current projects

Role overview 

Here at WSGN we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join us in our NAM HQ office in New York or in LA. The role will focus on new client acquisition for our Sports & Outdoor business.

This position is critical to the WGSN NAM business development efforts in

winning new logos in the Sports & Outdoor industry. WGSN also serves - Retail, Consumer Electronics, FMCG, Hotel & Leisure, Fashion, Interior Design, Marketing, Consumer Trends, Luxury, Beauty and Sustainability. The team

You will be part of a dynamic and supportive new business sales team made up of Business Development Representatives, Business Development Managers and Strategic Business Development Managers who are inspired sales professional that have high standards of performance and personally want to win and be part of a winning team. We aim to consistently exceed our targets and are looking for the next sales superstar to join us.

Key accountabilities

• Responsible for pursuing a book of business assigned to you in Sports & Outdoors  

• Build a sales strategy plan and execute on the acquisition of key clients to hit annual sales target

• Demonstrate a proactive approach to prospect the assigned book of business, hitting weekly and monthly activity targets. 

• Lead all aspects of the sales process from prospecting to closing (360 sales) 

• Develop new opportunities with businesses WGSN would like to approach for future subscriptions/sales 

• Deliver live product demonstrations to clients via online meetings or in person 

• Prepare presentations, develop quotes and proposals 

• Negotiate by phone or face to face 

• Proactively self-source new leads and develop a network of targeted prospects to build a pipeline through outbound prospecting 

• Respond to inbound marketing leads quickly and effectively 

• Deliver and exceed on your Personal Success Formula (KPIs)

• Hit and over achieve your monthly sales target

• Create and maintain up to date records on accounts/prospects using our CRM system Salesforce 

• Forecast weekly sales and future pipeline 

• Collaborate with content teams to keep up to date industry trends and developments

Skills, experience & qualifications required

• Experienced in sales as a proactive/outbound Business Development Manager or Account Executive

• A proven track record of consistently hitting your monthly sales targets 

• A continuing desire to learn and grow to improve your sales skills 

• A can-do and problem solving attitude necessary to thrive in our fast paced company

• Demonstrate advanced sales process, techniques and methodology 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as exceptional presentation skills 

• Good software skills (basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Salesforce 

• A passion for, and knowledge of, the retail, technology, beauty, interior design and hospitality industries 

• Have a passion for sports and outdoor activities is desirable but not essential.

About the role:

Alcoa is seeking a Materials Planner to join our team at the Massena location, specifically within the Planning / Scheduling team.

The primary function of this position is to assist in the efficient and effective execution of daily, weekly & monthly electrical maintenance activities. You will be responsible for preparing descriptive work instructions, developing and updating work packs, providing advice and direction during the execution of the activities and following up on costing and history recording at the completion of the activities.

This person will also apply the REX (Reliability) standard work management process (Reliability) as well as maximize the use and implementation of the REX (Reliability) tools at Massena. This person will also be responsible to participate in weekly activity reviews to seek methods and techniques to improve & update Standard Work Instructions for maintenance activities.

The key responsibilities are:

• Provides support to the Maintenance crafts personnel via weekly plans, clearly defining job work scopes, developing work packs to support the REX standard and work towards REX (Reliability) target State. Ensure continual improvement of maintenance processes through the review & upgrading of existing work packs.
• Responsible for ensuring that the material management REX (Reliability) standard is followed including the Kitting process. All necessary correct spare parts required are procured and pre-positioned prior to commencement of the activity and unused parts are returned to the store at the completion of the activity as per the RIMS process, liaise with other functions such as the expediter. A critical component for the efficient execution of maintenance activities is through a good understanding of equipment and ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Contributes to the efficient execution of maintenance activities by ensuring that all necessary labor, tools, parts, equipment and specialist devices are organized in advance and available when required. Applying the full suite of REX (Reliability) tools and observing the principles of continuous improvements in EAM.
• Contributes to a high level of motivation, efficiency and safety in relation to electrical maintenance work by ensuring that all production and maintenance personnel involved are aware of the activity details, preparation work being carried out and the sequence of events, timings and responsibilities during the actual execution of the activity. This includes ensuring that any changes to the scheduled activities are communicated to all relevant personnel as early as possible utilizing the REX (Reliability)suit of tools to execute this process and maintaining eAM as well as updating all visual management boards updated accordingly.
• Minimizes operating and maintenance costs of equipment by identifying and highlighting improvement opportunities and initiating action where appropriate. This may include identifying deficiencies in spare parts stock holdings, updating computerized eAM bill of materials and work packs, use of the work pack tools and initiating appropriate corrective actions including ARD’s, slow moving stock reviews, stock criticality ratings.
• Ensures that repairable items are tracked through the RIMS repairable system to maintain the required stock levels for these critical items. This is inclusive of ensuring appropriate transport of repairable items to & from the job site, in keeping with the Centralized Operations workshops, Departments, Site and warehouse operations to ensure lead times for spares is appropriate for the maintenance activity and are managed by the REX Material Checker.
• Connect with Asset planner, Expeditor and MLO daily to support Maintenance processes, Work execution & closure process.
• Required to fill vacation vacancy within the material planner / asset planner roles.

Qualifications

• A Combination of AS or BS Degree or experience adding up to 5 years in a maintenance or technical role. For example: A BS degree and 1 year experience, an AS and 2-3 years experience or no advanced degree and 5 years experience.
• Strong Electrical expertise preferred
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

The Atlantic is looking for a strategic and skilled insights-oriented Senior Manager to help grow the organization’s subscriptions business on the the Consumer Strategy and Growth (CSG) team. This role is critical in supporting the growth strategists and creative marketers of the CSG team in gathering data, conducting analysis, and helping impact growth levers positively primarily in their day-to-day endeavors but also certain longer term strategic projects. 

Day-to-day, this person would assess consumer revenue performance, create reporting infrastructure at the intersection of business and marketing analytics, and look for trends, areas for improvement and areas of risk. The Senior Manager would then funnel this information to the team strategists and work closely with them on using the data to make decisions that impact experiments, risk mitigation projects, development of new growth levers. The Senior Manager will present findings  to wider organizational stakeholders, and use it to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our business and its associated products in certain instances, for example, support consumer revenue forecasting work associated with product ideas.

This role is highly cross functional and will work closely with the larger data science, research, product, finance, and audience teams in pushing CSG projects along and gathering consumer revenue insights that can be used to make strategic and day-to-day tactical decisions. 

Objectives of this role:

• Conduct analysis and reporting including pulling, manipulating, and exporting data on marketing lifecycle projects.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Experience working with dashboarding tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau) and pulling data and creating reports within analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude) and/or martech tools (we use Sailthru, VWO, Facebook Ads, Zuora).

Job Description:

Blackstone’s Finance group is seeking an experienced and diligent professional for a promising opportunity as an Assistant Vice President on the Accounting Strategy & Policy team. In this role, he/she/they will provide strategic accounting and policy support to the newly launched Blackstone Private Equity Fund (BXPE), as well as other Blackstone funds.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Research, communicate and document accounting issues and related solutions, in support of the funds’ financial reporting in coordination with fund finance, operations and legal and compliance teams
• Provide structuring advice on proposed transactions in consideration of the fund’s reporting objectives  
• Develop accounting, non-GAAP and metric policies and procedures for BXPE and other Blackstone funds

Job Title: Private Equity Investor Product Strategy, Associate                            

Job Description:       

Blackstone’s Investor Product Strategy group is responsible for the preparation and presentation of all marketing and fundraising materials related to each respective business’ funds. The group liaises with client coverage for Investor reporting and client servicing. The role primarily focuses on financial information, investment strategy, performance related data, research and legal/regulatory matters in executing on the marketing needs of all prospective, current and closed funds within the alternative asset manager’s Private Equity businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the preparation and review of all aspects of the marketing and fundraising cycle from fund concept, PPM preparation, launch, “road show” presentations, marketing, LP diligence and closing of investor capital commitments
• Coordinate, create, and review bespoke investor presentations that leverage investment activity and valuations across all funds
• Managing responsibilities and assignments delegated to the junior and/or offshore resources
• Review completed limited partner due diligence requests and coordinate investor queries
• Coordinate the collection and analysis of key metrics across multiple internal teams and external resources
• Assist in preparation and review of bespoke fund performance analyses leveraging iLevel
• Assist in the development, preparation, and review of annual LP conference materials, pitch books, performance memos
• Draft presentations and memorandums for senior management
• Coordinate with and support broader finance and marketing teams in dealing with new product development, existing clients and prospective investors

Qualifications:                                   

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative discipline; strong academic record
• 4+ years of investor reporting, valuations, or other related experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, handle multiple projects
• Highly proficient in Excel and Powerpoint, iLevel reporting a plus
• Highly motivated and intelligent with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
