VDC Project Manager (TX-GC22004)

Location: Dallas, TX

DPR Construction is seeking a VDC Project Manager for our office in Dallas, TX.

The VDC Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities and processes concerned with the construction of DPR Construction’s commercial construction projects.

DPR Construction is a national commercial construction General Contractor and Construction Manager specializing in the construction of facilities for the Healthcare, Life Sciences, Technology, Higher Education, and Commercial sectors. The company is a leader in its use of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), which is a construction management method that leverages technology to plan and manage construction projects, project-related information, schedules, personnel, and organizations more effectively.

The VDC Project Manager is responsible for implementing and supporting VDC construction management activities and processes across the business unit to support the design, construction, and handover of construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Provides management and support services by monitoring performance against Project Execution Plans, Client and project needs, and instituting remedial actions when required;
• Develop preconstruction subcontractor procurement templates and exhibits for BIM/VDC;
• Develop and document tasks, construction project timelines and milestones, facilitate group meetings and document group findings;
• Responsible for deployment of VDC initiatives and VDC technology platform(s) / solutions;
• Manage and support VDC resources as needed;
• Assist in strategic regional business roadmap development, and in preparing the BIM/VDC portions of proposals and participating in interviews when appropriate;
• Develop and manage internal/external resources for a regional VDC training program that will engage project teams in the everyday use of VDC best practices;
• Participate in the development of the regional VDC strategic plan;
• Train, educate and mentor project personnel in various BIM software and processes
• Provide leadership to regional/local VDC resources in a fashion that supports the company’s culture, mission and values;
• Review any risk or value for the organization by analyzing requirements, contract, and evaluation documents;
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external clients that facilitate effective and efficient VDC processes;
• Create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate and assess value, impact, and ROI of established VDC Initiatives;
• Manage and participate in data gathering and analysis of metrics for regional and local VDC growth;
• Help develop the infrastructure needed to monitor goals, objectives and business plans;
• Help support standards/best practices for VDC implementation to be leveraged across the region;
• Coordinates and provides timely and value-added services to internal/external clients.

The successful candidates will meet the following qualifications:

Education/Experience Requirements: Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related, plus three (3) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in a civil engineering or construction management position in the commercial construction industry.

Alternate Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related, plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in a civil engineering or construction management position in the commercial construction industry.

Special Requirements:

One (1) year of experience with the following:

• Implementing VDC strategies beyond 3D modeling and clash-detection;
• Applying the concepts and methods of VDC in construction logistics and facility/final product operations and maintenance areas;
• Autodesk packages such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks;
• Contractor facing authoring and collaboration tools such as Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD MEP, or Inventor;
• Implementation and support of Autodesk BIM 360 products: Glue, Field, and Docs;
• Leveraging and supporting Autodesk Navisworks Manage;
• Model element quantification/estimation w/ Assemble Systems, or Navisworks QTO;
• 4D project scheduling tools such as Synchro and integrating them with BIM/VDC tools and technologies.

The Manager, Lead Generation/Business Development (Inside Sales) plays a crucial role in the development and execution of lead generation strategies to identify and attract potential customers. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing lead generation strategies, developing a team of lead generation professionals, analyzing data to identify target audiences, collaborating with marketing and sales teams, and optimizing lead generation campaigns for efficiency. The role demonstrates outstanding leadership, critical thinking skills, and communication to lead the team to success. This is a hybrid role, based in Dallas, Texas.

Team Leadership:

• Contribute to the development and execution of long-term organizational strategies.
• Lead through business challenges clearly and effectively, adapting strategies to evolving business needs.
• Provide mentorship and support for team members’ professional development.
• Effectively convey expectations, goals and feedback at both the team and individual level to develop clear understanding of roles and business objectives.

Lead Generation Strategy:

• Develop and implement strategies to generate a consistent flow of leads.
• Identify and evaluate various lead sources, including online and offline channels.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align strategies and ensure a smooth lead handover process.

Lead Qualification:

• Implement lead scoring systems and lead qualification criteria to establish the readiness of leads for sales engagement.
• Continuously refine and improve lead qualification processes to increase lead conversion rates.
• Update client details in Salesforce with current state, driven/industry information, and effective sales/marketing strategies to increase personal and team Key Performance Indicators.

Data Analysis:

• Analyze lead generation data and metrics to measure efficiency.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize team performance.

Campaign Management:

• Plan and implement campaigns (email marketing, content marketing, social media, webinars, and other techniques).
• Leverage referrals from marketing sources, clients, and networking opportunities to convert more new appointments for discovery and presentation.

Call Strategies:

• Develop proactive call strategies with marketing and other team members to align regional sales efforts toward high-supply markets and geographies.

Client Discovery:

• Discover the client's current situation, objections, and perceptions of current usage by probing previous experiences (good or bad) to educate how AMN solutions align with their strategy.
• Propose relevant workforce solution options that address clients' needs by articulating success cases that illustrate how service offerings help manage employment costs, increase the quality of care, and streamline staffing processes.

Consultation and Cross-Selling:

• Consult with client contacts on the full spectrum of relevant AMN services, using thought leadership, marketing materials, and sales strategy to introduce cross-selling opportunities to internal sales partners.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading an inside sales team, doing lead generation and demand generation, preferably in a Business to Business (B2B) environment.
• 3 years of team leadership in a sales organization.
• 3 years of C-Suite level sales engagement, with an understanding of solutions sales.
• Preferred experience includes significant analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Familiarity with lead generation tools and marketing automation platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated, thorough, and able to work independently.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should have familiarity with funding programs that seek to reduce disaster suffering. Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Work in a collaborative environment as part of a multi-discipline team, both within Urban Planning+Design and our other affiliated practices like stormwater, water and wastewater planning, and others.
• Demonstrate ability to produce well-written reports and highly visual documents
• Manage personal timeliness and technical correctness of a project to ensure high-quality work that fits within a client’s budget and expectations.
• Be willing to travel as needed to meet project commitments, including overnight travel and evening client meeting obligations.
• Prepare and facilitate public involvement and consensus-building meetings and workshops.
• Assist the group manager with related marketing and client development for planning assignments, and help support/identify strategic direction to advance hazard mitigation and resilience practices.
• Represent the company at conferences, seminars, meetings; make presentations to clients, government officials, and industry representatives.
• Bring and develop relationships with state hazard, disaster and emergency management agencies, local government equivalents and Federal agencies. Active membership in participation in the National Emergency Management Association and National Hazard Mitigation Association is encouraged.
• Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate detailed phases of planning work in several large and important projects.
• Develop plans for utilization of land and physical facilities of cities, counties, metropolitan areas and larger geographies, demonstrating creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented planning and design phases of a project.
• Maintain liaisons with individuals inside and outside of the company.
• Support and lead other types of plans and projects beyond hazard mitigation-related plans as needed based on workload.
• Draft proposals and statements of qualification within the directives of company policy relating to marketing.
• Supervise technicians and other planners when performing project tasks.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 8+ years of urban planning-related or mitigation/resilience-related work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or a related field to planning and hazard mitigation is required.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, database management and GIS
• This position requires experience in cross-sector planning (community and economic development, resilience, etc.), project management of multiple and complex projects, facilitation and engagement, project and scope development, GIS and other skills necessary to be successful in a government-client focused, high-paced firm.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of FEMA GO, HAZUS, FEMA Benefit Cost Analysis v. 6.0, HUD CDBG-MIT and FEMA BRIC, while not essential to this position, is encouraged.
• American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification
• Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification

Mesmerize, the leader in Point of Care marketing solutions, is seeking a dynamic, outgoing, and creative Business Development Manager.  The Business Development Manager will be responsible for cultivating business in our growing digital patient education business with a focus on regional retail pharmacies and medical office groups and partnering with the Senior Vice President of Business Development on enterprise size client opportunities. Duties and Responsibilities

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum of two years of Point of Care media experience or experience in retail or retail pharmacy partnership sales.
• Ability to partner with all levels of management to embrace company culture and synthesize messaging into succinct and aligned communication to prospects and clients.  Includes partnering with Mesmerize team and broader MJH Life Sciences teams.
• Sound understanding Point of Care and/or retail marketing.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or communications is preferred.
• Superb Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint capability.
• Demonstrated project management skills with cross functional teams and the ability to operate under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
