DPR Construction is seeking a VDC Project Manager for our office in Dallas, TX.

The VDC Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities and processes concerned with the construction of DPR Construction’s commercial construction projects.

DPR Construction is a national commercial construction General Contractor and Construction Manager specializing in the construction of facilities for the Healthcare, Life Sciences, Technology, Higher Education, and Commercial sectors. Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Work in a collaborative environment as part of a multi-discipline team, both within Urban Planning+Design and our other affiliated practices like stormwater, water and wastewater planning, and others.
• Demonstrate ability to produce well-written reports and highly visual documents
• Manage personal timeliness and technical correctness of a project to ensure high-quality work that fits within a client’s budget and expectations.
• Be willing to travel as needed to meet project commitments, including overnight travel and evening client meeting obligations.
• Prepare and facilitate public involvement and consensus-building meetings and workshops.
• Assist the group manager with related marketing and client development for planning assignments, and help support/identify strategic direction to advance hazard mitigation and resilience practices.
• Represent the company at conferences, seminars, meetings; make presentations to clients, government officials, and industry representatives.
• Bring and develop relationships with state hazard, disaster and emergency management agencies, local government equivalents and Federal agencies. Active membership in participation in the National Emergency Management Association and National Hazard Mitigation Association is encouraged.
• Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate detailed phases of planning work in several large and important projects.
• Develop plans for utilization of land and physical facilities of cities, counties, metropolitan areas and larger geographies, demonstrating creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented planning and design phases of a project.
• Maintain liaisons with individuals inside and outside of the company.
• Support and lead other types of plans and projects beyond hazard mitigation-related plans as needed based on workload.
• Draft proposals and statements of qualification within the directives of company policy relating to marketing.
• Supervise technicians and other planners when performing project tasks.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 8+ years of urban planning-related or mitigation/resilience-related work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or a related field to planning and hazard mitigation is required.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, database management and GIS
• This position requires experience in cross-sector planning (community and economic development, resilience, etc.), project management of multiple and complex projects, facilitation and engagement, project and scope development, GIS and other skills necessary to be successful in a government-client focused, high-paced firm.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of FEMA GO, HAZUS, FEMA Benefit Cost Analysis v. 6.0, HUD CDBG-MIT and FEMA BRIC, while not essential to this position, is encouraged.
• American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification
• Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification

Purpose of Job :

The Sr Financial Analyst will be a key partner to the Finance and Operations teams in identifying and reporting the actual values realized from strategic transformation efforts across the enterprise, including supply chain and procurement.  Strong focus will be placed on analytic rigor and partnering across Finance and Operations (both internal and external) teams.  Output from this role will be shared across the organization, including the Executive Leadership Team.

Job Components:

• Provide timely and accurate periodic reporting of actual performance versus planned/forecast expectations and prior year performance. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance leadership to present insightful explanations of variances and recommendations on risks and opportunities to the plan and/or forecasts
• Pro-actively identify opportunities for optimization and performance improvement. Develop Key Process Indicators to track results to inform key decision-makers and continually improve process outcomes.
• Assist with the evaluation and execution of warehouse lease and build to suit opportunities
• Develop and update budgets and forecasts related to transformation initiatives
• Develop robust business models, complex financial analysis, and valuation assessments
• Own project deliverables, timeline, and success criteria, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the organization
• Generate other ad hoc analysis, as requested
• Prepare financial results and decks for Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews
• Coordinate the financial planning cycle including collection, consolidation, preparation, and maintenance of data, models, and schedules related to the planning cycle
  • Execute the annual process for budgeting and quarterly forecasting of Supply Chain Transformation operating expenses, inventory adjustments, and working capital; ensure a detailed level of accuracy; partner with Supply Chain and Finance leadership to ensure alignment across targets
  • Work to identify key risks and opportunities to plan and/or forecasts
  • Identify trends not consistent with plan and/or forecasts

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required
• 3+ years of professional accounting or finance experience preferred

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum of two years of Point of Care media experience or experience in retail or retail pharmacy partnership sales.
• Ability to partner with all levels of management to embrace company culture and synthesize messaging into succinct and aligned communication to prospects and clients.  Includes partnering with Mesmerize team and broader MJH Life Sciences teams.
• Sound understanding Point of Care and/or retail marketing.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or communications is preferred.
• Superb Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint capability.
• Demonstrated project management skills with cross functional teams and the ability to operate under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
