We are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer who can deal with the whole range of local authority property work across our 5 borough shared services with the exception of routine residential matters (Not right to buy, lease extensions, residential management).

Key Responsibilities:

The role would also be responsible for ensuring that the legal advice and legal services provided to those clients is cost effective and of the highest quality.
To line manage a team of senior lawyers, Expert Practitioners, lawyers and legal assistants.

Provide customer focused, high quality and responsive specialist legal advice in relation to at least one of the areas of legal expertise covered by a local authority legal team.

Be responsible for providing creative legal solutions on a seamless basis to support service transformation and change and to meet client needs and at the more senior levels to be able to deliver advice on a broad range of areas.
Carry an extensive case load of complex and sensitive matters and to be managing cases that would be considered to be highly complex or organisationally high profile.



Qualifications:

Qualified legal executive, solicitor or barrister.



Experience:

Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.

Job Role:

What you’ll do:

• Showcase your professionalism as you interact successfully at all levels of seniority, maintaining strong and positive relationships across all clients and senior stakeholders

• Conduct regular patrols of the guest areas, office spaces and retail outlets on site, ensuring a visible and reassuring presence

• Monitor CCTV and access control

• Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents

• Enforce company policies and procedures

• Complete details reports on incidents and observations

What you bring:

• You must have an in date SIA Licence
• Proven experience as a corporate security officer or relevant positions
• Experience in a customer facing, concierge, hospitality or guest services role would be beneficial
• Strong observational and communication skills
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively
• Knowledge of basic security operations and procedures

Corporate Security Officer

• Rolling work pattern of '4 on, 4 off'
• 7am - 7pm
• 42 hours per week on average
• £16.10 per hour + Sodexo Benefits
• Based in the heart of Soho, just 4 minutes away from Oxford Circus station
• Full site specific training and uniform provided
