• Acts as the Contracting Officer's Representative for security-related purchases and services.

• Interviews subjects of investigations, employees, and other individuals to determine factual information, circumstances and behaviors that are critical to final adjudication determination.
• Provides advice, assistance and guidance to the Tribes in matters pertaining to personnel security statutory requirements.
• Adheres to Bureau policies, ethics and standards.
• Serves as point of contact for assigned areas of responsibility with US Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Investigative Service, DCSA, and other investigative agencies when conducting background investigations.
• Documents spreadsheets, databases, and third-party sites as required to initiate, track and report background investigation statuses from initiation to final retention disposition.
• Performs special projects as assigned and assists with investigating complaints or researching deficiencies.
