Your new role
The main responsibility for this role is to carry out security practices within the prison whilst sub-contractor works are carried out. You will be responsible for:

• Meeting contractors at the main gate and signing them in and out
• Completing a tool inventory with the contractors prior to them starting work inside the prison and checking again at the end of the day before they leave the establishment
• Escorting the contractors to their working area, escorting them for breaks and overseeing them whilst they work
• Ensuring no security practices are breached within the Prison.

Due to the challenging environment of the workplace, the ideal candidate will need to be level headed, security conscious, be able to follow processes and procedures and understand why they are in place, be honest and have the confidence to report any suspicious activity that they see in the prison and be able to use their own initiative.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The licensed and credentialed Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow-up under the direction of 1 or more physicians in the clinic. The NP performs age and specialty appropriate physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines. As an expert professional, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process, supervision of clinical practice, research involvement, consultative services, inter and intradepartmental liaison, education, leadership and patient care management across the health care continuum from preventative, acute care through discharge.

This is a specialized role, funded under a Massachusetts Department of Public Health contract, to perform grant funded clinical services mostly in the STD Clinic. The services will be provided for STD Clinic patients, drop in center patients and Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) patients. The licensed and credentialed Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow-up under the direction of 1 or more physicians in the clinic. The Program Director will be the supervisor.

The NP will conduct assessments for sexually transmitted infections, including physical exams, and will prescribe treatments. The NP will conduct assessments for patients who may benefit from PrEP and prescribe treatments. The patients will be located in two walk in sites: a drop in center across the street from BMC and an STD Clinic within BMC. The NP performs age and specialty appropriate physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines. As an expert professional, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process, supervision of clinical practice, research involvement, consultative services, inter and intradepartmental liaison, education, leadership and patient care management across the health care continuum from preventative, acute care through discharge. The NP assists principal investigators in the development and implementation of clinical research for a specified study or project. • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with authorization by the Board of Registration in Nursing to practice in an expanded role.
• Registered with the ANCC or other accrediting organization for Nurse Practitioners.

• Current BLS and ACLS Certifications.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of three years of current clinical nursing experience and two years experience in adult practice required. Prior experience in related clinical practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive emergency and non-emergency telephone calls
• Determine the nature, location, and priority of requests and dispatch appropriate resources in accordance with established procedure

In this role, under the direction of a degreed engineer, you will perform a variety of basic to moderately difficult engineering support assignments requiring a fundamental knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques. The co-op student at this level typically takes engineering notes, specifications, rough sketches, etc., and formalizes them into working drawings. Assignments are designed to develop a practical knowledge of equipment, facilities, and systems, and their interrelationships within a particular engineering discipline.
 

Responsibilities:

• Assists with a variety of civil engineering tasks to complete remedial designs for hazardous and solid waste projects including barrier walls (slurry techniques, sheet piles), sediment remediation, landfill, excavation, and solidification projects. 
• Assist in developing design drawings and writing technical specifications.
• Take part in providing construction oversight, construction quality assurance, and field engineering field assignments.
• Assist with the development of grading plans and perform engineering calculations (such as stormwater analysis).
• Work effectively and collaboratively with the project team.
• Candidate must also implement behavior-based safety tools to achieve incident-free operations (no personal injuries, property damage, or environmental releases) for both the client and Parsons.

Qualifications:

Must be enrolled in an engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university and have completed typically 1+ year of studies in a major Engineering discipline (e.g., Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.).
Relevant coursework required
Literate in PC software, with a working knowledge of CAD, and other computer software used to complete design assignments.

ASSOCIATE ROLE

The individual will join Bain Capital as an Associate within the Public Equity team focused on global research coverage and investment recommendations in the technology sector. He/she will travel to visit companies, attend conferences and perform due diligence.
