As a Senior Technical Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic technical architectural review and give direction to Architectural teams who are developing Construction and Authority submission documentation packages. You will also review and where necessary stipulate protocols to ensure maintenance of all architectural drawings, specifications and other consultants/contractors documentation in organized manner according to Office standards and individual client specific requirements.

Responsibilities:

• To lead technical aspects of a project and technical teams with respect to the preparation and submission of Architectural submission packages to local Authorities.
• Demonstrate ability to structure such Technical Submission packages in Revit
• To understand and lead project statutory submissions and controls and to ensure comprehensive compliance documents are prepared as directed.
• To establish and manage the CORENET interface for all submissions work
• To control and manage revisions of Authorities submission documentation packages to ensure consistency of Aedas deliverables.
• To take responsibility, where required by the project leader, for specific areas of the design and project development to meet the local statutory requirements.
• To assist in the process of coordination with external design team and other associated organizations or companies in view of collating the required inputs for the Authority submissions
• To assist Architects / Designers & Project Leaders in controlling the required changes to the Architectural documentation packages to align with the Authority comments and code requirements

Requirements & Attributes:

• Diploma in Architecture preferred
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in architectural draftsmanship and technical coordination and Management;
• Experience in large scale, hotel, mixed use development will be an advantage
• Familiarity with statutory submissions and controls, along with a strong understanding of local regulations and codes
• Experience in leading the preparation and development of Architectural submission packages to local Authorities;
• Proficient in BIM (Revit Architecture) preferred.
• Proficient in Bluebeam and Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign) preferred.
• Ability to self-develop and build colleagues to enhance team potential .
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Other professional certifications such as GMAP or GMAAP and UD Assessor will be an advantage

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the secure operation and maintenance and development of the core transaction system database and related foundational platform systems.

2. Design and implement high availability solutions for databases to ensure 99.99% or higher availability.

3. Perform fault diagnosis and emergency response, analyzing and resolving database performance issues while accurately identifying root causes in a timely manner.

4. Optimize SQL, providing suggestions for improvement and optimization of problematic SQL queries.

5. Conduct forward-looking research on database technologies and promote their implementation and usage.

6. Provide technical consultation and system support services to project managers or system leaders.

Qualifications:

1. Over 3 years of work experience, including at least 3 years in dedicated SQL Server database operation management and technical support.

2. Proficient in using Performance Dashboard, SQL Profiler, and related diagnostic tools

3. In-depth understanding of indexing, physical and logical storage, execution plans, and blocking and deadlocking

4. Skilled in backup and restoration, DBCC, database clustering, mirroring, replication, and distribution, with a strong understanding of relevant Windows platform knowledge (clustering/AD domain). Candidates with experience in two or more database technologies, including SQL Server, will be preferred.

5. Familiar with Linux, Windows, IIS, SQL Server, Apache/Nginx, MySQL.

6. Knowledgeable about the architecture, replication, high availability, monitoring, and backup mechanisms of SQL Server and MySQL, with practical maintenance experience preferred

7. Proficient in SQL statements for SQL Server and MySQL, including writing stored procedures and designing table structures.

8. Detail-oriented, patient, calm under pressure, responsible, willing to research technology, and highly interested in DBA work, with good communication skills and a spirit of teamwork.
