GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processes medication orders including computer order entry, medication preparation and assembles all items prior to pharmacist final check. (25%)
• Maintains pharmacy inventory and supplies according to established policies and procedures, including inspection of assigned areas and use of pharmacy computer systems.  (25%)

Prepares routine patient orders for IV pharmaceuticals including compounding, preparation and labeling of any IV admixture including antibiotics, solutions, irrigations, narcotics, parenteral nutrition and chemotherapy (25%)
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) Incumbents in role as of July 1, 2022 must achieve CPhT by 1/1/2024.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or 1 year equivalent experience in lieu of formal training program.

Preferred

• 1 year of pharmacy experience in respective area.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, performs a wide variety of technical and clinical and/or clerical duties to support the hospital wide unit-dose drug distribution system and intravenous admixture program. May be exposed to or responsible for maintaining confidential reports, entering and retrieving data utilizing the computer system, preparing intravenous medication, filing and delivering routine orders for unit dose and prepackaged pharmaceuticals and providing accurate assistance to the pharmacist in performing daily duties. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Distribution/Processing: Delivers routine, stat and floor-stock medications including controlled substances. Completes order entry and fills all types of medication orders within scope of practice. Processes charges, credits, admissions, discharges and transfers. Answers phones and relays messages within the department. Under direct supervision of the pharmacist, fills routine patient orders for unit dose carts and prepackaged pharmaceuticals, preparing, compounding and labeling IV admixture. Displays competency in the use of Pharmacy resources, including computer software (i.e., Automated Dispensing Cabinets, packagers, BCMA) and other technology. Performs routine supply and billing functions.
• Inventory: Continuously maintains pharmacy inventory and supplies according to established policies and procedures through assigned inspections, use of automated dispensing units and medication supplies depending on facility. Assists in ordering, receiving, unpacking and storing pharmaceuticals and supplies in appropriate locations, restocks medications and prepackages bulk medications in unit dose packages.
• IV Prep/Packaging: Compounds, stocks, repackages and batches from bulk medications. Prepares routine patient orders for IV pharmaceuticals.
• Work Environment: Contributes to the effective operation of the department through all activities including computer functions, processing cart fill lists, pick lists, refill medications, generation of labels and answering phone appropriately. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Safety and Quality: Participates in continuous performance improvement and regulatory compliance efforts. Takes responsibility for quality improvement efforts and then monitors processes and results. Maintains an attitude that promotes and fosters an environment of safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required within 24 months of hire. Incumbents in role as of July 1, 2022 must achieve CPhT by 1/1/2024.

This job provides direct care to patients and assists with non-direct patient care unit coordination. Will work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in the care of the acutely ill and/or complex patient. The incumbent receives specific work assignments from the Charge Nurse and/or Care Team Leader which are both written & verbal and is expected to demonstrate evidence of efficient time management by completing the work within the scheduled time. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the incumbent is expected to perform a variety of duties related to the coordination of activities on the inpatient unit. • Provides, obtains or performs and documents direct patient care and activities such as: activities of daily living, skin survey, vital signs, ambulation, specimen collection, intake and output, meal consumption, height and weight, blood glucose testing/monitoring, point of care testing, bladder scanning, transporting of patients and their medical record, documentation of O2, early mobilization and ambulation protocols, assistance with exam, treatments and procedures.  Summary of the Role

As a Customer Success Consultant:

• You are responsible for driving the success of ClubWise customers through excellent customer service, enabling them to successfully grow their business by maximizing the benefits offered by the ClubWise system.
• You will be an ambassador of ClubWise, achieving revenue growth by supporting our customers to maximize the number of members actively using their clubs, promoting member engagement and driving sales, leading to a maximization of Direct Debit collections.
• You are responsible for providing account management for your designated clubs, establishing and maintaining excellent communications with the customer, both during implementation / set up and beyond, in order to create a positive and beneficial customer experience.
• You will also be required to provide first line customer support to all ClubWise customers in the UK, taking calls, logging tickets and directing enquiries to the most appropriate team to ensure effective management and resolution.
• You will provide remote, classroom and onsite training assistance to help customers maximize the benefits offered by the ClubWise system.
• You will be responsible for identifying the training needs of our customers, identifying knowledge gaps and helping them to maximize the use of ClubWise in support of their business.

Further details

Serves as the consistent point of contact for referring physicians, patients, caregivers, families, and the community. • Educates and coordinates care regarding patient's diagnosis, treatment options, course of treatment, clinical trial information and resources available.
• Works with health care team to ensure safe handoff, coordination of care between facilities as well as inpatient to outpatient or outpatient to inpatient coordination of care. Works with High-Risk Care Teams to reduce re-admissions. May work with and/or assist Registry staff with data collection, patient outcomes and updates care delivery models.
• Coordinates appointments including all aspects of the multi-disciplinary team (physicians, consults, supportive care services, etc. and accompanies patients as needed to appointments. Ensures that medication adherence issues are addressed.
• Works with AHN physician offices/facilities to identify at-risk patients and assists in facilitating appropriate screening processes.
• Trends data and outcomes as established for the navigation program. Identifies gaps to improve patient care across the continuum.
• Develops or attends an existing clinical care conference to report out on active patients to the multidisciplinary team.
• May identify bereavement needs of families and develop plan of care.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

• Registered Nurse required.
• 1-3 year(s) nursing experience in the specialty required.

The Machine Learning Department within the School of Computer Science is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to be part of the NSF AI Institute for Societal Decision Making (AI-SDM). We seek researchers with a PhD in machine learning or a related area who are enthusiastic about collaborating with colleagues in the social and behavioral sciences and public health. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in connecting machine learning with societal issues.

AI-SDM is a highly interdisciplinary, collaborative environment, and the focus of this position is to serve as a bridge across the institute’s projects. To that end, the postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to both lead their own projects as well as collaborate with larger teams and mentor students. The faculty hosts and primary mentors for the fellow will be Aarti Singh and Bryan Wilder. Specific areas of technical research include online learning, sequential decision making, experimental design, and causal inference. The fellow will collaborate with both researchers in the social and behavioral sciences and partners in public health domains to improve interventions in impactful public health settings such as maternal and child health. This will involve both the development of novel AI methodologies which adapt to a patient’s social and emotional context as well as their implementation, deployment, and evaluation in real-world settings.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Conduct research experiments within the predetermined research scope and methodology of department and university.
• Collect and analyze data, including periodical/literature search and utilizing specialized skills in related field to analyze the collected data.
• Participate/assist in manuscript writing for publication in scientific journals and/or presentations.  May also assist in grant writing.
• Lab maintenance, including equipment maintenance and ordering of supplies may be required depending on area and specialty.
• Other duties as assigned.
