What a Technical Solutions Analyst does at Visa:

Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) Client Services team provides industry-leading implementation and operational support to Visa’s clients around the world. With our deep knowledge and expertise, we are a key internal partner to product and technology, bringing the voice of the customer into the design, development and successful deployment of Visa products and services. As part of the Technical Solutions team, the role provides technical support to financial institutions who utilize CMS product suite to provide Value Added Services and transactional processing services to their corporate clients.

 In this role, you are expected to:

• Provide high value customer service support to clients, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded, and be the voice of the client

• Participate in cross functional customer service delivery initiatives across clients and Visa internal teams

• Coordinate internal resources to accomplish client’s and Visa’s objectives

• Drive problem and communication management for any critical issue affecting a client, or client issue affecting Visa

• Proactively notify clients regarding any widespread or business critical problems with CMS product suite.

• Build and enhance positive working relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders

• Engage Technology Operations and Product organizations to regularly review and identify permanent solutions to frequently encountered operational issues

• Educate and train clients on best practices for CMS product suite

• Represent Client Services from the operational perspective in the execution of difficult and mildly complex customer change requests, system or new operational requirements.

• Negotiate and manage expectations of clients and internal stake holders

• Develop and manage operational initiatives, special projects and client-driven continuous improvement plan

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Reviews and certifies the accuracy and timeliness of all contractual payments submitted by contract community-based providers before submission to FMIS.

Conducts training for Community Treatment Coordinators, Reentry Affairs staff, and CTS contractors on areas of policy and billing in accordance with State of Work (SOW).

Maintains a financial ledger showing funds allocated and obligated to keep staff informed of availability of funds.

Serves as the branch inventory management specialist and maintains accountability for all items for which branch is responsible.

Your new role
As a Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for working across multiple business units providing insight, analysis and support to help drive company performance.
This role will involve monthly revenue reporting, ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes for the whole P&L, including detailed modelling, analytics and presentation packs to senior management, supporting with ad-hoc projects and process implementation.

My client in Glasgow is looking to bring on a Technical Architect/Consultant to support them for an initial 3 month project, Outside IR35.

Overview of the Business Problem:

The business' PMs have tracking methods in place however they are looking for someone who has lots of experience in Software Development Projects to make sure they have a single well understood method of how their backlogs are working to help bring these strands together. A model will be created to give the Senior Leaders in the business clarity of the resource allocation across all software development projects (business delivery, enterprise delivery, client). Ideally the structure will allow the appropriate costing of running projects and build a model that includes ROI calculations, forecasting and demand management to anticipate the financial impact of starting new projects.

Requirements:

• Familiar or have experience within the Azure DevOps Environment
• Experience in Solving Business problems through Technical Solutions
• Background and Strong experience in working in Software Development Projects
• Qualification or background in Finance/Accounting would be extremely beneficial for the role
• Architecture experience would be advantageous
• Experience with going above and beyond completing a Task, and striving towards solving a Business Problem
• Track record of completing and Delivering on Projects within a set time frame and budget.
