We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in developing the chassis and mechanical components for a state-of-the-art portable MRI system. The Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) cluster at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position specialising in the philosophy of science and technology. Appointments will be made on an initial three-year contract with the possibility of renewal.

We are particularly interested in applicants who can play an instrumental role in addressing questions relating to ethics in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies—both through teaching students who are pursuing engineering, computer science, and architecture majors and through interdisciplinary research collaborations with engineering, design, and computer science faculty.
