This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter with extensive experience in security and a strong track record of leading service delivery in a complex operating environment. You will work closely with the Head of Security Operational Resilience to provide assurance to the Deputy Director - Security and Fire Operations and the Director of Security for Parliament regarding the integrity of the operational security protocols and controls designed to maintain the security of the parliamentary estate.

The Head of Security and Fire Operations oversees the day-to-day operational management of the parliamentary uniformed security workforce, working closely with partners and stakeholders across Parliament and externally, including the National Protective Security Agency (NPSA) and Metropolitan Police Service (MPS). You will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the security guarding and fire protection operations on the Parliamentary Estate. You will also be the operational point of contact with the MPS and London Fire Brigade, ensuring that appropriate operational security is in place to mitigate threat, in line with Parliament's risk appetite.

• Oversee the day-to-day management of PSD Operations and Fire Protection Team.

You will be self-motivated, have a strong customer focus and hold a valid First Aid at Work Certificate.

NHS England's Public Accountability, Communications and Engagement function sits within the Strategy Directorate. It is one of the busiest communications teams in the country, operating within a fast-moving environment and managing a wide range of high-profile issues affecting the NHS each day, with those issues commanding significant public attention and scrutiny.

Activities delivered by the team include:
• answering Freedom of Information (FoI) requests and parliamentary questions;
• managing communications for major incidents such as COVID-19 and industrial action;
• delivering public facing campaigns including recruiting future NHS staff and supporting appropriate access to health services;
• marketing NHS products such as the NHS App and other digital services and supporting take up and usage of NHS education and training services;
• planning and co-ordinating events and visits;
• internal communications and engagement, working with our HR team;
• managing strategic relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders including Royal Colleges and health and care sector representative organisations;
• handling incoming media queries and proactively pitching and communicating stories that deepen public understanding of the NHS and its activities through all media channels.

The team works on a business partner model, combining national communications teams and embedded regional and Directorate communications teams into a single function.

The role(s) will be accountable to the Chief Strategy Officer who has Executive Group responsibility for communications, policy, strategy, health inequalities and greener NHS but will work closely with other NHS England senior leaders including the Chief Executive and Chair.

Key relationships

They will interact frequently with, and provide strategic counsel to, senior NHS England leaders, including the chief executive, chair and other board members, as well as represent the organisation with the most senior stakeholders in government, the wider NHS and elsewhere.

The Director will have line management responsibility for the following national teams:
• Corporate Affairs;
• Public Accountability and External affairs;
• Campaigns and Social Media;
• Strategic Communications;
• NHS Operational Communications.

They will also line manage the Director of Regional and Directorate Engagement who will, in turn, line manage communications colleagues providing embedded support to regional and directorate teams.

In order to maintain the relationship required to be successful in this position, the postholder will need to be frequently present in NHS England's headquarters in London (Waterloo).

Responsible for the Trust’s Security Governance and support function(planning, designing, configuration and deployment management, maintenance, 2ndline support), technologies, and processes for those used in 1stand 2ndline support to ensure availability and consistency of use for the end user. Responsible for implementing and maintaining effective technical solutions, in line with ITIL standards and internal SLAs, to meet Trust requirements. This includes the implementation of network and security related technologies and ensuring.



Responsible for technical verification of the Network Managed service a network related area of the Cloud, on-site datacentres.



Act as CISCO Network SME for the team and projects.

· Work with the network managed service (NMS) to ensure continued operation including; technical review of designs, changes and service management of the NMS.

· Proactively monitor and review the network managed service and assure NMS supplier security quality (in line with Security Management best practice, contractual agreements, and industry standards).

· Analyse, investigate and troubleshoot to complex IT requests, problems and issues. Lead on problem management, identifying root causes to problems and recommending permanent fixes and workarounds, and make judgements on multi-stranded or complex ICT problems which may have no precedent or where there are conflicting opinions.

We are looking for a skilled, talented and humble CTO, who must have more than 7 years commercial proven experience in working and delivering high-scaled projects, including CRM. No agencies please and no freelancers including any graduates or someone with less than 7 years commercial experience.

Office based role. No Hybrid role. No interview done on video. This role is Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. We expect as a CTO to manage your time effectively and also there is level of expectations to do further hours, based on business and client needs.

Must have experience on the following:

You must have TALL and MERN stack experience of at least 7 years commercial.
Strong hands-on knowledge on HTML5, CSS3, ES6+.
The ability to work on your own to code - must have strong coding experience.
Optimizing code for performance.
Comment code and produce documentation to industry standards as needed.
Produce code to the highest standards while adhering to industry accepted architecture and design pattern techniques and methodologies (e.g., MVC, SOA, OOP, DI etc.)
Hands on experience on REST APIs, GraphQL and WebSocket.
Required skills and qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
7+ years of experience as a senior developer with extensive experience in complex and large scale projects.
Deep understanding of technology trends, best practices and the Indian market's technology landscape.
Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity best practices.
Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into effective technology strategies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing technology teams.
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale technology projects, delivering results on time and within budget.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights for informed decision-making.
Preferred skills and qualifications

A master’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, AWS and/or CISSP.
Ability to think tactically and translate business objectives into technology initiatives.
Proficient in risk mitigation and data security of digital assets.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to the Indian market.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies for software development/delivery.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
Proven ability to navigate complex technology landscapes and align technology initiatives with business objectives.
