Your Role

As our Head of Customer you will be focused on customer strategy, customer culture, customer service, engagement, insight and customer information. You'll need to understand the diversity of our current and potential customers, while engaging politicians, local communities and businesses within TfGM areas. Keeping your eye on other organisations and sectors to ensure that we are always innovating and driving continual improvement and best in class experiences. Your extensive customer strategy experience, putting the customer at the heart of organisations and driving operational and cultural change off the back of insight. You should have demonstrable experience with technology in a customer space and how it can be used to improve the customer experience and save costs. You could come from any sector with high volume/low cost transactions, often based on non-price factors - quality, convenience, comfort, safety, reliability etc, and a smaller range of products or services, with clearly defined competitors, although travel information experience would be an advantage.

Work streams relevant to this role to oversee:
·Safeguarding reporting and register;
·Serious incident register;
·Death register- including follow up on unexpected deaths;
·Code red - internal escalation campaign;
·Whistleblowing public line and follow up;
·To promote Open cultures and ensure vigilance in preventing closed culture;
·Close working with Hr cases that involve safeguardings;
·Safeguarding good practice/Escalation campaigns;
·Safeguarding training oversight;
·Present report to the Quality subcommittee of the Board, to Quality team meetings and Registered managers conferences as required;
·To work alongside investigating manager and when required External professionals to ensure duty of care occurs and that we follow up and follow through on our actions;
·To support accompany managers at Multi disciplinary meetings.

You will ensure there is appropriate debrief action based learning and develop good practice directives and develop. We are looking to recruit a new Head of Customer Experience and Safeguarding to work within established team and closely with the Executive team to ensure a robust and bespoke approach to Customer Care management and promote a range of initiatives that engage customer views and opinions in order to inform good quality services. The role will also provide senior strategic oversight of Safeguarding management.

Directors and senior management team ensure quality oversight and follow up as required across our range of services and customers. This role is designed to support this leadership approach and enhance the process where helpful by adding to quality assurance follow up, investigations or taking a lead in more complex cases. The Head of Customer Experience and Safeguarding will work strategically alongside the Quality Department and report to the Board quality subcommittee with regular attendance at executive meetings.

The successful post holder will have excellent experience of social care management at a senior level. They will be a competent, organised and informed manager with a solid knowledge of safeguarding processes. We require a firm commitment to Customer engagement and complaint management to achieve strong outcomes. Excellent report writing skills and verbal and written communication is essential. Manpower has a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to become a Customer Service Advisor, working with our client, Capgemini based in Inverness or Nairn.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers.

Your main responsibility is to provide 1st line IT support to Capgemini's clients.

What you'll do

• Respond to incoming requests via telephone, email, and web chat
• Log all requests in the appropriate call-logging software
• Assign calls to relevant support teams

• Action Back Office requests as and when required
• Advise customers and support teams of known problems/workarounds
• Ensure customers are kept updated with the progress of their request
• Contribute to overall achievements by maintaining agreed personal targets

A background in Customer Service would be beneficial, however full training will be provided to ensure you are successful in your role.
