Overview*

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be involved in a multi-site cohort Human Biomedical Research study. You will be based at outpatient clinics across NUHS, at Alexandra Hospital or National University Polyclinics. Job Responsibilities*

You will be responsible for the following:

1) Subject Recruitment and follow up

• Be involved in subject recruitment, scheduling and data entry. Screen patients based on study eligibility, and communicate the study aims to potential subjects in layman terms.

Overview

Admission and Service Centre (AASC) has a team of financial counsellors who provides timely and accurate financial estimates information on patient’s hospital stay based on treatment or procedure. The role requires you to conduct bedside financial counselling for admitted patients in a consistent and comprehensive manner on estimated/ interim/ finalised medical cost. You will need to assist patients to understand and source for their financing options to reduce their upfront cash burdens by empowering patients to make informed decisions on the level of medical services based on their affordability.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

Financial Counselling /Admission

• Conduct financial counselling to patient/NOK on the estimated hospital bills, available subsidies and schemes and various modes of payment.
• Assist patients to complete the various modes of payment forms.
• Refer appropriate cases to Business Office/Medical Social Worker for financial assistance schemes that patient may be eligible for.

Patient Billing Matters

Overview

Admission and Service Centre (AASC) has a team of financial counsellors who provides timely and accurate financial estimates information on patient’s hospital stay based on treatment or procedure. The role requires you to conduct bedside financial counselling for admitted patients in a consistent and comprehensive manner on estimated/ interim/ finalised medical cost. You will need to assist patients to understand and source for their financing options to reduce their upfront cash burdens by empowering patients to make informed decisions on the level of medical services based on their affordability.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

Financial Counselling /Admission

• Conduct financial counselling to patient/NOK on the estimated hospital bills, available subsidies and schemes and various modes of payment.
• Assist patients to complete the various modes of payment forms.
• Refer appropriate cases to Business Office/Medical Social Worker for financial assistance schemes that patient may be eligible for.
• Ensure proper documentation and follow up is done for all inflight cases until patient discharge.

Patient Billing Matters

• Assist patients/NOK in their billing enquiries.
• To collect deposits, payments and handle any outstanding bills for eligible patients, or for other items ordered/applied by medical team such as rehabilitation items, mobility aids etc.
• Perform settlement for NETS / Credit Card transactions daily for patient outstanding payments.

Handling and processing of National forms (NEFR/MCAF/MT)

• To be able to explain and advise patient and their NOK on the various forms and the necessary proof of documentation needed.
• To ensure the original hardcopy of MCAF M/NEFR forms are submitted and send back to MOHH timely.
• To ensure SAP system is updated whenever these forms are consented by patient.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping of the reception areas and workstations to maintain a professional image and neatness of the workplace.
• Reply emails received in the AASC email account daily.
• Ensure all e-BARFs and merge request cases are raised timely and correctly within the department.
• To manage the department supplies inventory.
• Involve and engage in ad-hoc projects as assigned by Reporting Officer.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE “O” Levels qualification or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with positive “can do” attitude.
• Team player with natural ability to interact with healthcare team of all levels.
• Pleasant disposition, approachable, independent worker, have initiative and drive to resolve issues.

Overview*

The Healthcare Redesign department (HCRD) is responsible for driving technology-enabled care transformation in Alexandra Hospital, to deliver quality healthcare that is safe, efficient, and value-driven. We will be launching a new digital health service that will leverage on wearble technology data to provide digital health coaching.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Coordinator (Digital Health Coach) to join our team. The Care Coordinator (Digital Health Coach) will be responsible for providing virtual coaching and support to individuals looking to improve their health and wellness.

Job Responsibilities*

You will be responsible for the following:

• Conduct initial consultation with participants using data gathered from a digital health platform
• Create and implement personalized health plans that are aligned with lifestyle goal(s) set by General Practitioner (GP) utilizing digital tools and resources
• Use data and analytics to track participant progress and adjust plans as needed
• Monitor participant adherence to the program and encourage continued participation
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to participants through virtual coaching sessions and personalized nudges
• Communicate effectively with participantss via phone and nudges
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Consolidate and routinely update the list of exisiting acitivties available within Queenstown community and amongst partners
• Stay up-to-date with the latest digital health technologies and trends

Requirements*

Diploma equivalent professional qualifications in Nursing, Social Work, Allied Health, Health Services Management, Health Management & Promotion, etc

Those with Nitec in Nursing and has relevant working experience in clinics will be considered.

• 1 - 3 years of experience in healthcare and/or community health setting in Singapore is preferred.
• Strong team-player, with natural ability to interact with patients/ residents, healthcare team and community partners of all levels.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and manage a high volume of clients
• Organised with strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to use local languages and dialects will be an added advantage
• Passion for health and wellness and desire to help others improve their well-being
• Strong understanding of health and wellness principles and ability to apply them in a virtual setting
• Willingess to learn and adapt to new technology
• Proficiency in MS office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
• Motivation interviewing and/or Health Coaching certification is a plus

Overview*

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be involved in a multi-site cohort Human Biomedical Research study. You will be based at outpatient clinics across NUHS, at Alexandra Hospital or National University Polyclinics. You will be primarily responsible for subject recruitment and other research deliverables for the studies. You will work closely with the research team and the Principal Investigator of the study.

Job Responsibilities*

You will be responsible for the following:

1) Subject Recruitment and follow up

• Be involved in subject recruitment, scheduling and data entry. Screen patients based on study eligibility, and communicate the study aims to potential subjects in layman terms.
• Obtain consent taking, administer study questionnaires and follow-up on study participants.
• Work closely with research team, clinicians, clinic staff and other relevant internal departments to ensure research study needs are met.
• Able to work on tight timelines, set sensible targets and achieve research deliverables.

2) Research Documentation / Administrative duties

• Conduct research study activities like patient recruitment, data collection and data management.
• Assist in data collection from electronic health records.
• Set up and maintain study investigator files, including records of consent taken and blood collection.
• Maintain study records in databases such as Redcap and in electronic health record systems.
• Responsible for maintaining strict adherence to research protocols i.e., HBRA.
• Liaise with investigators, clinicians and laboratory team to set up clinical workflows at multiple clinical departments for research recruitment.
• Prepare necessary documentation for audit purposes.
• Coordinate the submission of new IRB applications, study amendments and annual reports.
• Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with hospital policies, ethics requirements and local regulations.
• Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI.

Requirements*

• A diploma or equivalent in qualifications in Science/ Public Health/ Social Science with 2 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor Degree in Science/ Public Health/ Social Science with 2 years relevant experience
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus to meet research deliverables and targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Leadership and accountability to tasks is very desirable.

• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM, and Saturday, 8:00AM to 12:30PM, are required.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA)
