Talent Analytics Consultant, Senior
Key Role:
Support the firm’s listening strategy through development and analysis of annual surveys, including employee experience pulse surveys, 360 feedback, rolling life cycle surveys, ad hoc surveys, performance, retention, and attrition. Manage full-cycle survey requests across the firm. Support consultative survey design, programming the survey in the firm listening platform, distributing the survey, and automating reminder emails, assistance with the dashboard reporting of survey results, communicating insights to the client and post-survey analytical support. Examine trends and themes across the employee experience. Provide dedicated and ad hoc technical support to a range of different functions. Support firmwide talent analytics efforts across key areas to drive decision-making and mitigate attrition. Conduct statistical analysis to identify differences and trends, develop predictive models, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver solutions. Consult with People Services and business leaders on their team's analytics needs and propose solutions and develop people analytics strategies that align with firm and business objectives across functional areas. Communicate effectively across a highly matrixed organization and at different levels, think and act strategically, and influence key leaders. Integrate with other internal analytics teams to partner on data sets which integrate the talent story with other functional analytics, including our internal enterprise analytics office, as needed. Support ad-hoc analytical requests using quantitative and qualitative people data to provide insights across the employee life cycle to guide leader decision-making process aligned with their priorities. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with talent data analytics, data visualization, dashboards, and reporting
Experience with developing key talent metrics to measure success
Knowledge of data and how to translate insights into actionable recommendations for a senior audience
Ability to create and present visually compelling interactive briefings, reports, and dashboards of meaningful data insights to staff and senior leaders
Ability to grasp large complex talent datasets and translate data analytics into business insights
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with BI Tools, including Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Excel and, PowerPoint, and other visualization tools
Experience with advanced analytics tools to build complex data models
Knowledge of people data analytics, people processes, and people metrics, including employee experience survey design, and overall workforce life cycle listening strategies
Knowledge of Perceptyx, employee listening, and platforms
Ability to evangelize data-driven solutions with polished speaking expertise, learn and apply new advances in talent analytics to the organization, collaborate with others to obtain the data needed from a variety of sources, and implement workflow efficiencies regarding data
Ability to demonstrate analytical strength, strict attention to detail, design bespoke visualization, and work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
Ability to support in functional projects as a people analytics subject matter expert
Ability to maintain a high level of competency in analytical principles, tools, and techniques to discover new best-in-class talent data analytics capabilities
Ability to recognize a business situation keenly and quickly, including both risks and opportunities to lead to decisive decision making and a excellent business outcomes, including the context of how people analytics can inform a business situation or solve a business problem
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Data Science, Data, Industrial Organization Psychology, or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
