What you'll need to succeed

Your new role

You need to have good understanding and experience of designing and implementing communication strategies.

To be successful in this role, proven experience of project management and programme delivery is essential for this role. The successful applicants will have previous experience of working in a similar role and have a proven track record of working with heavy duty cable tray, ladder rack and SWA cabling.

In addition, a recognised relevant qualification is essential.

Previous experience of water treatment plants and a National Water Hygiene “Blue” Card would be useful but not essential.

Ideally applicants with undergone an Anglian Water site safety awareness and passport course, although this is not essential as the client is prepared to put people through this if needs be.

The work may also involve weekends so applicants must be prepared to work weekends as well.

• Traffic Management:
  Direct and control traffic flow around construction sites to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
• Safety Compliance:
  Ensure all vehicles and personnel adhere to site safety regulations.
• Communication:
  Coordinate with site managers and vehicle operators to facilitate smooth operations.
• Monitoring:
  Keep a vigilant eye on site activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Reporting:
  Document and report any incidents or safety breaches to the site supervisor.

Street Cleaner - Thurrock area

Do you like being outdoors, being part of a team and caring for your environment in and around Thurrock.

I have several roles that I am presently working on in and around Thurrock for Street Cleaners. These positions will start on a Temporary basis.

• Sweeps pavements, gutters and roadways with hand broom or mechanical sweeper; (Training will be given)
• Collects litter using hand tools.
• Transfers refuse into containers and empties public litter bins into containers.

The role is in all weathers and duties will vary from but not limited to:

- General cleaning duties

- Cleaning the shop entrances

- Litter picking

- Sweeping Leaves

- Scraping out weeds

- Emptying and changing the bins

Ideal Candidate:

- Must be able to work in all weathers

- Must be able to work by themselves

- Must be flexible and trustworthy

- Must have a driving licence (due to locations within Thurrock area only)

On-going work, Monday - Friday 07:30 16:00

On-the-job training is provided
