Within this position, hybrid working opportunities are available. However, you are required to be on-site at the Civic Centre a minimum of 2 days a week.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you must be able to work in the UK, have a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with the Social Work England and have completed your ASYE.

You must have post 3 years+ experience as a social worker within the adult community sector. You need to have the ability to build excellent working relationships with other agencies/professionals at all levels. You will need to be able to scope out community assets to better inform those people we work with.You must have knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, skills in assessment of carers and the ability to provide support and guidance to carers is essential.You need to have experience of applying the Care Act (2014), Mental Capacity Act (2005) and managing adult safeguarding enquiries or have a good understanding/knowledge if no direct experience is available.

Executive Team Assistant
Purpose of role:
To offer a confidential and dedicated secretarial service to the executive team, facilitating their effective role in execution. Additionally, this role encompasses some facilities-related responsibilities.
Location: Stoke, Stoke - On - Trent.
Salary:
£25,000 - £27.5000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Executive Assistant and executive team members to achieve defined objectives.
• Efficiently manage the executive team's diaries to optimise their time.
• Handle incoming calls related to executive team members promptly and efficiently.
• Manage emails and letters from customers, clients, and internal stakeholders on behalf of the executives. Coordinate with other departments to address queries and complaints effectively.
• Distribute relevant papers for management and meetings as needed.
• Attend weekly Core & Prime Team Meetings, record actions, and create and distribute agendas.
• Ensure progress on meeting actions and compile agendas for upcoming meetings.
• Arrange necessary travel for executive team members.
• Verify that relevant executives have recorded and submitted expenses within required timelines.
• Approve travel expenditures for the rest of the business when necessary.
• Reconcile corporate card expenditures and make necessary purchases on behalf of the business.
• Raise supplier purchase orders, ensuring meticulous record-keeping.
• Maintain an effective and confidential filing system.
• Sort incoming mail, including tracking and scanning checks and legal documents.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks for executive team members, such as project management.
• Occasionally make decisions on behalf of executives, especially related to diary management.
• Request information from internal and external sources.
• Assist in organising catering and hospitality for external visitors, board meetings, and off-site events.
• Provide cover for the Senior Executive Assistant during periods like annual leave.

• Desirable Skills:
• Previous secretarial experience.
• Education and Qualifications:
• GCSE in Mathematics and English or equivalent.
