4. Proven management experience within a diverse service and ability to make decisions relating to the management of casework, staff, finances, the Centre, and deployment of resources within a seven day a week service and outside of normal working hours
5. Experience of supervising and managing social work staff including performance appraisal and review, which ensure that performance meets specified deadlines and targets in terms of both practise and performance management requirements
6. Excellent communication and organisational skills and a proven ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships and partnerships within the Joint Service for disabled children, other Local Authority groups, partner and external agencies which contribute to the development and delivery of an innovative service for disabled children and their families.

A. Work as a Case Worker in the Change and Challenge Service [CCS] holding a complex caseload of families that meet the Troubled Families criteria.
B. Coordinate, be lead facilitator, review and evaluate whole family interventions.
C. To be the CCS liaison officer with a group of schools, maintain communication with them, and represent the CCS at meetings with the schools such as exclusion panels. Ensure that Schools know that you can screen all families that potentially meet the Troubled Families criteria.
D. To do direct one to one and group work, at the CCS building, the family homes, other community venues with CCS clients [Adults and Children] who may display very difficult, challenging, angry and aggressive behaviour.
E. To undertake all duties in relation to the provision of assessment, report writing, supervision and case management regarding all matters relating to CCS clients in accordance with Legislation, Local and National Standards and all relevant Enfield policies and procedures.
F. To work with CCS Management to deliver a high-quality service to schools, partner agencies, parents/carers, their children and other members of their family, ensuring that we work towards the Troubled Families criteria.
G. To work with CCS Management to deliver all CCS Plans and meet the highest standards in the Performance Management and Quality Assurance Framework.
H. To be responsible for the delivery of efficient, comprehensive co-ordinated activities and referrals involving CCS clients with the objectives of meeting Local and National Troubled Families standards and within the aims and objectives of the Enfield CCS Business Plan.
I. To maintain accurate and contemporaneous records of all activities in accordance with target objectives and national standards. Ensure that alrelevant information systems are up to date with accurate data and information.

Skills, Experience

Essential:

To have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of direct work with children young people and their families in the family home or in the community.

Experience of working effectively in co-operation and partnership with a range of communities, partner agencies, private sector bodies, public agencies, voluntary bodies and statutory agencies appropriate to the service area.

Proven ability to work with young people, adults and families who have multiple and complex needs with the ability to complete family assessments and draw up and review contracts and intervention strategies.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work assertively to achieve sustainable and positive change. Including negotiation and problem solving in a multi-disciplinary setting

Ability to keep accurate records, organise, plan and coordinate work and proficient use of IT systems e.g. Outlook, MS Office and electronic case management systems.

Desirable:
1. Experience of working with complex case reviews such as multi-agency professional meetings e.g. Multi Agency Panels, Safeguarding or TAFs (teams around the family).
