Due to company growth we're supporting an exciting engineering company who are looking for a Graduate Engineer to work within the project team.

This is excellent opportunity for a new graduate in the engineering industry to enter the industry and learn and develop on the job within all aspects of design & production of custom-built packages.

As a graduate engineer you will learn and develop on the job which will include:

Schedule, monitor and control project activities to meet critical deadlines.

Liaising directly with clients and suppliers to ensure requirements are understood and met e.g. regulatory processes, material, and design specifications such as ASME VIII and PD5500, industry electrical and instrumentation standards. Inhouse company standards also to be met and communicated.

Working with suppliers and clients to resolve problems and find appropriate solutions, while ensuring the companies interests are protected.

Guiding and expediting the design team (drawing office) to produce technical drawings that meet project specification and drive production activities to progress the package build. This includes technical and operational problem solving.

Raising purchase orders for a variety of structural, piping, controls and instrumentation equipment that meet client and company specifications and monitoring costs against project budget.

Supporting the production department and suppliers with prioritising and scheduling manufacturing, build, and test operations to ensure critical milestones are achieved.
