We are looking for a Finance Accountant to join our FM client's Financial and Accounting department to act as the first point of contact for all RTR issues and queries.
What are the main duties?You will work alongside the wider Shared Service team to implement an agenda and processes addressing any differences in practices and performance. You will also work to promote and maintain centralised activites across all business units activities, acting as a business partner.
Other duties include:

• Day to day management of RTR activities and onshore team such as balance sheets, checklists and deadlines
• Developing the internal team branding
• Act as finance expert within the Business Partnering role
• Manage integration of new acquisitions into standard RTR systems and processes
• Manage and update finance processes, maps, SOP's in line with RTR strategy and Group policy

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a person with a high level of Accounting experience holding full Accountant Qualifications. You will also have experience working within a Shared Service or Outsourcing environment, holding an understanding of governance and implementing change. Additionally, you'll have a good attention to detail, have the ability to work alongside a variety of high stakeholders and be able on Excel with large data sets. Experience using SAP ERP is preferred but not essential.

You will manage a caseload of professional indemnity claims across a range of delegated authority claims handling schemes offered to insurer clients. Your new role
You will be defending claims both with and without the assistance of panel solicitors, depending on the value and complexity of the claim. You will be reviewing new claims and assessing liability and quantum, as well as a preliminary assessment of coverage.

You will also be involved in business development and marketing with the qualified fee earners.

The International Field Service Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing field service for industrial automation equipment. This includes technical support, maintenance and repair of insulating glass units and flat glass processing machinery. The duties include frequent communication with clients to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Duties:

• Install, conduct maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment at customer sites throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide.
• Provide high-quality technical assistance to customers to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Document customer machine information and technical conditions and make improvement suggestions.
• Work within a cross functional team that includes applications, sales, engineering, or production for excellent customer service.
• Train customers to operate and/or repair machines to ensure maximum productivity.
• Act as an ambassador and work directly with customers during installations and repairs to enable their business success.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills
• Excellent working knowledge of electro- mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic control systems
• Computer literate with knowledge and experience interrogating maintenance and PLC software
• Field Service and Maintenance & Repair experience
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools
• Knowledge of industrial automation and glass processing machinery is beneficial
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
• Qualification in an Electro-Mechanical Engineering discipline or related field

• Full UK Diving Licence
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Overseas
