As a Prison Services Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide clinical pharmacy services to patients within your allocated prison(s) and support the team of pharmacy technicians and assistants. You will manage the day-to-day work of the pharmacy technicians within the team, supporting them clinically when on site. You will undertake clinical visits within the prison, carrying out MUR’s, reviewing medication history of newly admitted offenders and proving clinics for patients to give advice and support on their prescribed medicines. This involves adopting an occupational medicine approach. Initially the Primary Care notes and optician report are to be reviewed in order to determine if there are or have been any conditions that may impact on a candidate’s ability to safely carry out the role they have applied for, or that may be made worse by the role.

Then a face-to-face medical allows further discussion of the candidate’s history and a thorough head to toe (non-intimate) examination enables the clinician to assess the condition of the candidate.

As a Creative Arts Therapist, what does a typical week look like for you? With us, your day would start with a morning briefing, where you'll share updates and hear about the impactful work being done throughout our Integrated Therapy team.

You'll play an active role in delivering training sessions to our teaching teams, exploring creative activities that enhance learning, and sharing invaluable insights from pupils. DENTAL HYGIENIST :

- OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION – SERVICE REQUIREMENTS

1. To provide the Dental Officers with clinical and administrative support to enable him/her to achieve his/her primary purpose, including the provision of dental hygiene treatment, oral hygiene instruction and education and any other appropriate clinical procedure as prescribed by a Dental Officer working towards improving and maintaining the oral health of entitled personnel.
2. To undertake all activities described in the GDC Scope of Practice. Carrying out work under the direction of a registered dentist who has examined the patient and indicated in writing the course of treatment to be provided. This is in accordance with the Dental Auxiliary Regulations 1986, as amended by the Dental Auxiliaries (amended) Regulations 1991.
