We currently have an exciting opportunity for 12-month contract for Senior Tenders Analyst to add to our team in Vaughan, ON or Dorval, QC. Reporting directly to the Manager, Tenders, you will collaborate closely with other departments and service organizations to contribute to the overall success of the company’s objectives. The primary goal being to deliver quality Tenders, Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Information (RFI) (collectively “RFx”) submissions within the customer defined deadlines and requirements to increase business for Cardinal Health Canada. This role will also provide in-depth focus on review of the RFx documents and terms and conditions, conduct risk identification for business and legal review of the documents and redline agreements as required. You will manage multiple RFx submissions at a given point in time, leading cross-functional teams, representing all parts of the business.

The Senior Tenders Analyst will also be responsible for monitoring the status of the submitted RFx projects and upon award coordinate all the activities between the customer and internal teams to sign the contract. You also bring with you a level of experience that can provide value added service, intel and knowledge sharing to Commercial teams to support driving growth of the business. You will contribute to other internal projects, play a key role in optimizing and supporting process improvements. You will also support training of new hires within the team.

Your Contributions to the Organization:  

The Senior Tenders Analyst is responsible for the timely development and completion of the entire RFx project lifecycle from inception to award. This position is also responsible for managing RFx process, coordinate all tasks relating to bids, support contract management and work with cross-functional teams to achieve company-wide objectives. This position requires someone with project management experience, a keen attention to detail, strong time management skills, a customer-centric approach, and a desire to collaborate on projects. You are comfortable in reviewing and articulating details from contract and bid documents and bringing people together to meet a common goal. You are motivated by learning new things, being comfortable in sharing your thoughts, driving process improvement initiatives, and working with tools that will create efficiencies. • Lead the entire RFx and contract lifecycle process, from initial intake to final submission and contract award, in alignment with RFx and/or contract timelines.

• Responsible for sourcing and qualifying new bid opportunities from various bid sites.

• Act as project lead of the assigned RFx, facilitate and streamline the communication, coordinate kick-off calls and coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop a competitive response.

• Liaise with the customer to seek clarification, coordinate questions and address RFx requirements, as required.

• Review RFx documents, associated contract templates, assign tasks, and set internal timelines for all appropriate subject matter experts.

• Review contractual terms and conditions of RFx documents and contract, identify contractual risks and collaborate with internal stakeholders for approvals as required.

• Draft proposals/agreements with our customer, where required.

• Coordinate, collect and assemble RFx materials and responses.

• Responsible for the submission of quality proposals and RFx submissions within the customer defined deadlines to help support growth for the business.

• Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Legal.

• Ensure the final bid submission is of high quality, meets all specifications, is delivered to the customer on time and is archived electronically.

• Monitoring status of the submitted tenders and RFPs.

• Redline RFx contract awards from notification of preferred proponent through to finalization/execution.

• Updating and maintaining the systems with all the relevant data for the awarded business.

• Support escalation resolution and response.

• Coordinate all the activities between the customer and internal teams to finalize and sign the contract.

• Develop business relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective coordination of tendering process.

• Lead complex, cross-functional RFx projects of large scope.

• Works with other subject matter experts to foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices through engagement, and continuous feedback.

• Support key policies and procedures to achieve specific goals.

• Participate and apply process and system improvement initiatives.

Qualifications: 

• RFx/Contract Management experience required; preference given to candidates with solid experience managing contracts or equivalent

• 2-4 years of relevant experience

• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field. Advance Degree preferred

•    Participer aux études électrophysiologiques lors desquelles on utilise les produits Abbott (dont le cathéter cardiaque et le système d’enregistrement électrophysiologique Workmate/Claris) en portant une attention particulière aux techniques de cartographie avancées et appuyer ces études en facilitant l’utilisation appropriée et sûre des produits et collaborant en vue de résoudre les problèmes et d’optimiser les résultats.
•    Coordonner l’évaluation clinique des produits conformément aux autorisations de mise en marché limitée.
•    Fournir des services éducatifs au personnel médical et aux professionnels paramédicaux sur des sujets liés aux systèmes d’électrophysiologie et aux produits d’électrophysiologie de base d’Abbott (cathéters diagnostiques et thérapeutiques et des outils tels que les gaines orientables).

THE OPPORTUNITY
This position is field-based in Montreal. In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

The EP Procedure Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting customers with clinical support, in-servicing, and maintenance of Abbott products for Abbott Electrophysiology (EP) technologies. In addition, providing clinical expertise, collaborating with the Sales Team (Territory Manager and Regional Manager) to assist with developing business strategies and growth, while serving as a technical conduit between customers and Abbott.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
•    Within the limit of company policies, procedures, programs and budgets, the EP Procedure Specialist is responsible for and has commensurate authority to accomplish the duties set forth:
•    Work requires the application of theoretical principles and creative/analytical techniques typically acquired through extensive and detailed in-house training and experience gained in the EP lab. Maintains expert knowledge and consults on technical and clinical advancements.  Identifies and routinely uses the most effective, cost efficient and best practices to execute processes; continually evaluates their effectiveness and appropriateness.

•    Attend EP procedures involving Abbott products (including ICE, EP WorkMate/Claris) with an emphasis on advanced mapping and assist by facilitating proper and safe use of products, and thorough collaborative problem solving, to optimize outcomes
•    Coordinates clinical evaluation of products under Limited Market Release Authorization (LMRA)
•    Provide educational services to medical staff and Allied Health Professionals, on subjects related to Abbott EP Capital Systems and Basic EP Products (Diagnostic, Therapeutic catheters and Tools such as Steerable Sheaths).
•    Provide training on products, procedures, and applications to Abbott staff when required
•    Contribute to Clinical, Training and Education and Sales Organizations as a speaker/trainer, developer of training materials and/or Technical Memos on new technologies (including competitive products).  
•    Attend and provide direction during evaluation of EP products to first-time users
•    Work closely with the Territory Managers to drive business opportunities and sales growth
•    Maintain expert status and continuing clinical and technical proficiency in EP mapping, ablation, diagnostic and ICE technologies. Product expertise should go beyond features and benefits, focusing also on design, development, clinical application and competitive positioning. Attend scientific symposia, congresses, or other meetings for continuing education and to support product displays.
•    Maintain proficiency in EP procedures.
•    Obtain Abbott Company certification in Abbott EP technologies
•    Assist with Regional/National activities such as: timely Product Experience Report submissions; inventory consignment counts and inventory management.

•    Be flexible with travel within Canada for case support, training and meetings (both regional and national)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:  

• Partnering with and directly supporting assigned Acute Sales Representatives and accounts.

Votre contribution à l’organisation :

• Travailler en partenariat avec les représentants des ventes et les comptes, Soins hospitaliers en plus d’en assurer le soutien direct.

• Faire preuve d’un leadership certain, en travaillant de manière interfonctionnelle avec les parties prenantes internes et les clients externes afin d’assurer une expérience client harmonieuse, tout en se chargeant du dépannage des problèmes qui affligent la chaîne d’approvisionnement, le crédit, la refacturation et les réadressages.

• Passer en revue le rapport des ruptures de stock au niveau du client afin de déterminer la cause fondamentale; identifier les options et la catégorie de service, et prendre les mesures appropriées tout en tenant les équipes des ventes informées. À ce titre, sont visés les substitutions, le réadressage des stocks d’un entrepôt différent et l’obtention des approbations marketing.

• Assurer la liaison et la direction du dépannage avec les équipes de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, du marketing, du transport, du Service à la clientèle et de l’assurance de la qualité afin de résoudre les principales perturbations en matière d’approvisionnement et les problèmes qui affligent les clients, avec pour objectif de recueillir des informations et d’assurer une communication proactive avec le client en intervenant sur le plan du dépannage des ruptures de stock.

• Diriger des réunions de stratégie périodiques et y participer avec les représentants des ventes afin d’assurer l’établissement de solides relations de travail.

• Tirer parti des rapports sur les données et les ventes afin d’identifier et d’interpréter les tendances, de comprendre les causes fondamentales, de relever les occasions et de proposer des solutions durables.

• Utiliser Tableau pour recueillir des données, en interprétant et en soumettant des clients potentiels aux représentants quant aux comptes existants.

• Élaborer et tenir à jour divers rapports et tableaux de bord portant sur les ventes afin d’offrir de la visibilité à l’égard d’initiatives clés en matière de ventes (rapports d’utilisation, habitudes de commande, documentation des occasions d’affaires récemment perdues).

• Identifier les détails des nouveaux produits, les articles similaires, intervenir sur le plan de l’identification des fournisseurs, en plus d’engager le marchandisage de nouveaux articles et d’ajouter de plus amples détails aux articles existants.

• Créer de nouveaux sous-fournisseurs pour fins de référence dans le système JDE, et l’outil de référence croisée (y compris au chapitre des notes des expéditeurs).

• Utiliser Tableau pour élaborer des tableaux d’examen des territoires mensuels et trimestriels, en appuyant les stratégies de mise en marché des représentants, conformément à ce que prévoient les plans d’action sur le terrain applicables.

• Appuyer les sessions d’examen des opérations en collaboration avec les représentants des ventes (au besoin).

• Disposer d’une solide connaissance pratique des contrats, des ententes de prix, et agir à titre de personne-ressource pour ce qui concerne l’information sur les produits et leurs substitutions, en plus de favoriser le respect des contrats.

• Relever les possibilités d’amélioration de l’efficience et faire évoluer l’efficacité de ce rôle tout en offrant des services à la clientèle sans faille; gérer les ressources internes afin d’améliorer la rentabilité. Identifier les corrections de prix.

• Réaliser des analyses de la demande touchant l’inventaire et recommander des configurations et des stocks appropriés dans les installations de distribution régionales.

• Informer et appuyer la conversion des clients au profit des outils de commerce électronique afin de leur permettre de fonctionner de manière autonome (ruptures de stock, PDL, etc.).

L’emploi pourrait vous convenir si vous :

• Êtes parfaitement bilingue (français et anglais) sur le plan de la communication verbale et écrite.

• Possédez un baccalauréat (de préférence) ou avez acquis une expérience professionnelle équivalente dans un domaine connexe.

We are currently looking for a Sr. Finance Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month contract subject to extension. This role is Hybrid and will require on-site presence 2 days a week at our Vaughan head-office.

Your contributions to the organization will be:

• Work closely with offshore processing center to deal with unapplied cash, accounts receivable and accounts payable including queries

• Manage set up of new supplier accounts

• Communicate with bank for payment queries

• Review AR download reports

• Evaluate bank reconciliation and retrieve copies of cheques and EFT remittances

• Liaise with customers to get required information inclusive of remittance details, answering inquiries and providing supporting documentation in a professional manner

• Update notes in system to keep track of work progress

• Maintain customer accounts in good standing

• Process refunds, if any, after full investigation

• Handle cheque runs

• Be backup for credit card payment including review of credit card log, answering relevant calls and follow-up with customers for credit card information update

• Deal with escalated cases in a timely manner to meet customers’ and suppliers’ expectation

• Other ad hoc assignments or projects which may arise from time to time

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of pricing data in the ERP system for Cardinal Health Canada. The Pricing Analyst will be accountable for the setup, maintenance and regular updates to all pricing agreements, vendor contracts and customer contracts for assigned accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Accountability of the integrity of pricing data in the ERP system.

• Working with Sales, Vendors and Customers to ensure accurate and timely setup and maintenance of customer pricing.

• Ensuring pricing issues escalated by Customer Care, Sales, Finance, Vendors or Customers are handled and resolved in an accurate and timely fashion.

• Managing relationships with internal & external customers.

• Analyzing gross profit, identifying misses and determining corrective course of action.

• Analyzing rebate discrepancy reports, working with Vendors to reconcile payments.

• Data manipulation and analysis.

• Supporting projects and team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education preferred with previous related experience being an asset.

• Strong analytical abilities and proficient in working with large subsets of data.

• Demonstrates knowledge of pricing processes

• Works well in MS Office with a strong focus in Excel

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:  

• Picking and preparing health care products for customers

The Demand Planner will be responsible for managing demand planning processes and tools with an eye for improvement. The Demand Planner will also play a key role in the future ERP implementation.

This is a hybrid position. You will be required to be on-site 2-days/week.

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:  

• Analyzing demand forecasts in order to identify sales’ trends across all business segments and to proactively represent any statistical forecasting exception

• Creating and maintaining forecast models, assist in incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources into that demand plan utilizing their analytic and interpersonal skills

• Proactively developing, analyzing, and recommending finished goods demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation

• Identifying areas of forecast risk and improvement opportunities for their assigned demand planning categories

• Reviewing historical sale trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, evaluate forecast results

• Developing an easy way to quickly compile and analyze month-over-month and year-over-year trends on product groups as required

• Assisting in the creation of best-in-class processes to improve forecast accuracy and bias

• Collaborating with the Sales teams to ensure better inventory planning, demand Signal Exception Analysis (spikes/ drops), new business materialization and service level analysis

• Align forecasts with the company's strategic goals, ensuring that resource allocation and inventory levels are optimized to meet market demands while supporting overall business growth

• Engage in scenario planning to better anticipate potential market changes and develop more robust demand forecasts

This Job might be for you if: 

• Possess a strong understanding of statistical forecasting and inventory optimization techniques. Supply Chain experience is an asset

• You’ve completed a College/University education (or certification) in Demand Planning or Supply Chain Management, MBA is an asset

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (preferred)

• Understanding the functionalities of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

• Proficiency in demand planning softwares, and exposure in or leading Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) preferred

• Possess a certification in APCIS CPIM, CSCP or IBF CPF (an asset)

• Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence internal and external customers to drive value-added solutions

• Acquire strong analytical skills and proven ability to analyze data trends with the use of reporting tools (ex. Excel, Access) and initiate action from findings

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and be able to prioritize effectively
