The facility Privacy/FOIA Officer has oversight for the data governance program and initiatives in the VHA Medical Center or Healthcare System and its supporting catchment area. The 9 Catheter Labs at MRI and Wythenshawe Hospitals form part of the North West Regional Cardiology service. It is one of the busiest in the country, performing in excess of 5500 procedures a year from Pacemakers to Implantable Defibrilators, Cardiac Ablations and Angioplasty. The Two hospital sites are working in unison to develop a single cardiac service across the Trust.

A strong commitment to our team is essential for this post and a broad range of nursing experience in Cardiology or another acute area is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. . A full comprehensive training package will be provided and a mentor will assist in the individual needs of the successful candidates.

In the Catheter lab we are aware of the need for flexible working. Working patterns are presently Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts. On completion of your competency programme, the post holder will be required to undertake some on-calls as part of our 24 hour emergency team.

The Role
