Key Responsibilities

Purpose: The Custodian will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

• Inspect and clean all windows and window frames, both interior and exterior.

• Detail clean all baseboards, wall trim, walls and handrails throughout the facility. Must ensure that all surfaces are free of handprints, scuff marks and dust.

Deputy Manager

• Location – Portsmouth
• Part Supernumerary
• 65 Bedded Service which is privately owned
• State of the art purpose built facility

Criteria

• NMC PIN
• RGN, RMN or RNLD Considered
• Ideally Management experience, but not essential

Responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• To act as a clinical and professional role model, supporting newly appointed staff.
• Supporting the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the home and taking charge in their absence
• To contribute to the learning environment of the Home, directing junior staff, and maintaining with them a happy healthy working relationship which is conducive to a professional atmosphere
• To ensure that the Home’s policy on storage, checking and administering medicines is strictly adhered to.
• Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of evidence based care required.
