As a Unit Nurse Manager (General) at a care home, you’ll use your compassion and initiative to make sure our client's residents get the quality care they deserve. ABOUT YOU

The role of Integrated Clinical services Manager is to ensure a genuinely exceptional client experience throughout the two teams, covering inpatient & outpatient physiotherapy services and the health screening offerings delivered by physiologists and GPs.

The Person

You will need to have:

• Proven post qualification clinical experience

• Operational management experience within a healthcare setting is desirable

• Financial management experience within a healthcare setting is desirable

• Significant experience in physiotherapy delivery

• Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team

• Evidence of leadership within a team of health care professionals

• Candidates must be computer literate as we use an electronic patient record system

• Have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent; you'll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)

The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. The hospital has 2 theatres, as well as a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre and an Endoscopy suite. There are two ward areas: an inpatient area with 21 beds and a day-case ward with 12 beds. We also have a busy outpatient department, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and radiology department including an MRI scanner. Brook Street Social Care is offering a new exciting and rewarding role for 2 Registered Manager within Mental Health Residential Care Home in Exmouth and Exeter.
You will be providing friendly, compassionate, person-centred, professional, and inspirational support for an amazing Residential Care Home which specialise in Mental Health and Learning Disabilities (Complex Needs).
The aim is to support our clients to continue developing their key skills, being independent and active in making decisions while living in our home.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Motivation, recruitment, and retention of staff
• Supervisions and Appraisals
• Care Plans, Assessments, and Reviews
• Compliance
• Quality Assurance
• Knowledge of Local Authority Procedures and Safeguarding
• Participation in the on-call rota when needed.

ABOUT YOU:

• You have a knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards of the service, including the need for the management and delivery of person-centred service (CQC requirements).
• You can effectively manage and inspire the performance of others
• Excellent communication skills
• You are excellent at building relationships with key stakeholders including the local council
• You have professional attitude
• You are HIGHLY MOTIVATED, ORGANISED and RESOURCFUL.
• You have proven experience as Deputy Manager/Service/Team Manager within Mental Health and/or Learning Disabilities.

Up to £60,000 depending on experience.

37.5 hours per week
