We are looking for a keen individual to join our friendly Cancer Services Pharmacy team working in a busy environment to help us provide an efficient service to our patients receiving chemotherapy. Previous experience in pharmacy dispensing systems and a NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services is essential.

Experience working in a busy hospital pharmacy environment is desirable and you must have excellent attention to detail.



The successful candidate must be proficient in the use of a computer, have proven organisational skills and demonstrate an attention to detail in their work. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

You will play a key role in dispensing chemotherapy for our patients. You will also carry out general housekeeping, filing and receptionist duties and undertake daily stock checks and provide a ward top up service.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with 60 minutes lunch. You will also participate in the seven day, late duty and Bank Holiday rotas.

To be considered, candidates must hold an NVQ qualification Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills or an equivalent recognised qualification. Previous hospital experience is desirable and an enthusiasm for a new challenge and a willingness to learn are key!
