Job purpose

Be supporting role in providing expert nutrition guidance, conducting product training, health talks, and nutritional training programs for our client to improve their knowledge of the company products.   

Duties and responsibilities

Nutritional product training:

• Support assistant manager Nutritionist or Marketing Manager to conduct product training for internal staff (e.g. sales and marketing team and customer service).
• Conduct and implement product training and workshops for organization members and help leaders meet specified performance expectations. Ensure the team is well equipped with product knowledge.
• Assist head of department to develop E-learning modules, product training manuals, digital training materials (e.g. educational cards/ posters, video clips and etc.)

Consumer nutrition education & consultation:

• Provide nutritional consultation and product recommendations to customers according to their health condition and requirements. Offer advice on how to stay healthy and provide support on their progress.
• Support and provide product/health info updates on social media platforms.
• Handle and provide product-related nutritional health information sharing (through face-to-face sessions, incoming calls, emails, and social media enquiry inbox).

Scientific editorial & communication materials:

• Always keep up-to-date on the market trends in terms of product knowledge and the latest nutritional findings.
• Update health articles and manage product information and health tips content on the company website and social media.
• Support marketing E-newsletter content management in relation to customer health and product information.
• Prepare and develop creative and conceptual ideas on marketing nutrition materials to support the sales team based on training needs, available data and research, which includes product brochures, catalogues, advertorials, detailing kits and necessary material based on monthly needs, events, etc.
• Support marketing in researching literature and scientific reviews in related to active ingredients as compared to competitor brands.

Requirements and skills

1. Any degree in Nutrition/ Dietetics/Community Health or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3. Fluent in spoken English & Chinese. Candidates with proficiency in conversing in Mandarin / Cantonese would be an added advantage.

The primary purpose of the position is to provide supervision, guidance, and assistance to Contact Representatives in the performance of their duties. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Takes appropriate steps to recommend or effect changes necessary to enhance employee and section performance.
• Develops new or proposed policies, procedures, and guidelines and makes recommended changes to standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.

The Boiler Plant Operator Helper will be required to complete an on the facility job training program. Upon completion of the training, the operator will be able to perform the duties of a Boiler Plant Operator at the full performance level of WG-09. The individual develops an Individual Development Plan (IDP) that includes the programs objectives and activities in accordance with the training guide for boiler plant training program. The incumbent trains to qualify as a participant in the areas of operations, maintenance and repair of state-of-the-art boiler equipment.

Major Duties listed but not limited to:

• Operates and monitors basic boiler plant functions and steam systems under supervision.
• Adheres to policies and procedures, including lock out/tag out (LOTO) and confined space entry.
• Starts, operates, secures, and maintains power boilers and auxiliary equipment.
• Inspects boilers and related equipment for functionality.
• Follows safety procedures before working on boiler plant equipment.
• Assists with preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) of boilers and steam production equipment.
• Cleans equipment and performs general housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Supports boiler and steam equipment repairs identified during inspections, routine operations, or equipment failures.
• Conducts water treatment and chemical testing for boiler feed condensate and pools.
• Monitors meters and gauges to maintain proper combustion, temperature, and pressure.
• Maintains equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Completes logs, records, and documentation for operations and maintenance activities.
• Performs other related tasks as required.

Major duties include, but are not limited to:

• Providing administrative support for program management for the Veterans Custodial Training Program and the overall EMS program.
• Monitors and works with EMS supervisors on the status of competency folders, training documents related to safety and sanitation standards, and Veteran timecards.
• Provides assistance to the Financial Technician for specific EMS timecard completions.
• Compiles information for various reports as requested by the EMS Environment of Care Supervisor or the Chief of FMS for items related to sanitation, recycling, shredding, the Custodial Program, Etc.
• Provides specialized credit card procurement support to the EMS Environment of Care Supervisor for furniture, laundry, uniforms, and as back-up support to the Patient Assistance Program (PAP).
• Works with various EMS supervisors on credit card orders for various associated needs and work order requests related to interior design, uniforms, and a back-up for PAP.
• Tracking and scheduling station level office moves and set ups for the EMS supervisor and employees.
• Assists other administrative groups as requested.
• Assist with timekeeping duties, minutes, agendas, work orders, and other administrative duties.

Employees at the GS-7 & GS-9 grade level serve as entry-level/developmental level Recreation Therapist (RT) in a career development position progressively expanding their ability to provide assessment and treatment interventions for a wider range of human function systems and patient care needs. RTs at this level practice under the direct supervision of a recreation or creative arts therapist at or above the full-performance level or a designated supervisor in a clinical environment.

Employees at the GS-11 grade level serve as staff Recreation Therapists functioning at the full performance level. RTs at this level practice autonomously receiving guidance in only the most complex cases. Recreation Therapists must be certified by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) and/or licensed in states where applicable.

• Participates in multidisciplinary ward/clinic rounds, as needed, which includes providing information on patient assessment and progress, and information regarding recreation therapy management of patients.
• Regularly attends continuing education programs on issues pertaining to recreation therapy.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills in interpersonal relations, especially the ability to appropriately and courteously relate to internal and external customers.
• Performs appropriate assessments, evaluations, and treatments in order to help prevent physical disability; promote physical, mental, and psycho-social health
• Maintains clinic areas, cleans and organizes therapy equipment and supplies to promote quality treatment in a safe and functionally appropriate environment.
• Maintains a state authorized driver's license and completes required training to be able to transport patients as needed using the medical center's means for transportation.

• Recommends adaptation, modification, and/or assistive technology to meet a patient's assessed needs and preferences in recreation therapy.
