The Digital Health Service Management Team are looking to recruit a Digital Health Stock Assistants for 12.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be someone who understands the value of providing outstanding customer service and is able to effectively balance the need for IT service delivery with the operational needs of a large, busy hospital. Able to work proactively under pressure and deliver against individual and team Key Performance Indicators.

Provide initial telephone and email support for job planning queries, responding to enquiries within remit of work in a timely fashion or escalating/referring to the JPO as appropriate. Initiate the administration of the New Doctors induction programme by preparing the paperwork ahead of the session, ensuring completion of training by new starters, setting up diary invitations, and completing the post-session follow-up actions. Support the training of doctors programme on the Trusts job planning system both in scheduled group training sessions, and on a one to one basis. To be responsible for ensuring that Job Plans are signed off on the Trusts electronic job planning system, using template emails, on a weekly basis. Job Description:

Daily basis:

1. Clean and tidy 2 NFS kitchens, food preparation and needlework rooms.

2. Prepare ingredients and equipment for teachers to conduct Food & Nutrition (F&N) activities and practical work in the NFS kitchens daily.

3. Prepare students’ ingredients and materials before lesson.

4. Assist in checking and storing of goods.

5. Assist in stock taking of equipment in the NFS kitchens, food preparation and needlework rooms.

Where necessary, the post holder must attain required training standards for maintaining medical devices, adhere to procedures and policies, and utilise technical skills like hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and manual labour, including lifting equipment and using hand tools.

Managing medical device records by updating databases and providing occasional non-clinical advice is required. The role includes implementing and proposing changes to departmental practices, maintaining physical assets and equipment, and ensuring stock control and security.

Candidates should have strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high standards of patient care and safety. Development and training opportunities are available for candidates with the appropriate levels good aptitude and role.

We are looking for a dedicated Medicines Management Pharmacy Assistant (MMPA) to support the Medicine Management Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists at ward level to provide Medicines Management services.

The role includes duties such as patient counselling, assembling medicines at ward level, topping up wards with stock.

You will also participate in the dispensing of prescriptions for in-patients and in associated pharmaceutical duties.

Full training will be provided in the department. You must have a willingness to learn in a fast paced environment.

Please note : Experience of working in a pharmaceutical related or hospital environment is essential. The applicant must possess an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy services.
