CACI is looking for an experienced machine learning engineer with data scientist experience to play a large role in expanding upon CACI artificial intelligence and machine learning products. The candidate will be responsible for innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from complex and high-dimensional datasets.  Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement. What You’ll Get to Do:

• Conduct and own the full end-to-end software development lifecycle in a machine learning context.

• Procure and possibly produce new datasets through data augmentation, consolidation and cleaning of historical data and/or through manual creation.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis on large, raw and highly dimensional pre-existing datasets, apply data visualization, normalization and data mining methods to extract usable data from possibly noisy datasets.

• Produce, test and perform on going evaluation of deployable ML models that can operate in near real time and provide enhanced and automated outputs to the intelligence community.

• Work with a small and innovative team to develop, test and maintain AI/ML tools to assist fis-analysts with internal tasks.

• Perform transfer learning using state of the art models and generalizable open-source datasets to rapidly create ML models.

• Utilize a broad range of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques with an emphasis on deep learning in order to perform time series prediction, classification and clustering, object localization and identification from imagery and automatic script generation.

• Deliver regular status reports and briefings capturing the actions, progress, and way-forward recommendations to leadership and clients.

• Work across teams to understand specific data, how to access it and how the data can be used to develop useful ML models.

• Research academic ML literature to stay up to date on best practices and SOTA models and techniques.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field; or on the job experience

• 5 years of experience in software engineering or software development for information technology systems

• Foundational understanding of dimensionally reduction and data pre-processing techniques.

• Foundational understanding of neural networks and transformers and their applications to time series and image data.

• Experience writing, training and testing deep neural networks from scratch.

• Experience using version control systems (Git).

What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Works in partnership with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement specific industry and account penetration strategies, produce account specific product and sales enablement plans, provide assessments and drive leads from identification to sale completion.

The Opportunity:  

As a back-end developer, you know that a good site or system needs the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solution. We’re looking for a back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients. 

As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to help deliver solutions. Using your software engineering skills, you’ll work with and learn from the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have:

• Experience with software development 

• Experience with languages, including Java, Python, Go, C++, and Node

• Experience with frameworks, including Flask, Spring, and Express

• Experience with Web API development, including REST architectural style

• Knowledge of Agile methodology

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• HS diploma or GED

 Nice If You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with developing backend software 

• 2+ years of experience with developing in a microservices architecture

• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, HTML, or XML

• Experience with network security, including access and authorization for PKI and chain trusting

• Experience with writing unit tests and E2E testing

• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, and GitLab

• Knowledge of back-end users’ requirements 

• Ability to investigate root causes and provide corrective actions

• DoD 8570 Compliant Certification, including Security+ or CISSP

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

• Experience with thermal and vibration testing – E.

• CAD Knowledge & Experience.

• Siemens NX experience a plus.

What We Are Looking For:

• Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent or equivalent work experience.

• Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) experience.

• VITA 47.x & VITA 48.x standards experience.

• Microsoft Office – Word, Excel & Power Point.

• Cameo, Jira or Jama experience is a plus.

• Must be comfortable to work from Client location (Cedar Rapids, IA).

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$86,200.00- $124,000.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
