More detail about the role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Nurse / Practitioner who has recent relevant clinical experience in the acute or community setting to be part of the PRC team. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of a portfolio of clinical trials and the management of clinical research staff within the relevant specialties and helping to complete the set-up of this new venture including implementing novel patient recruitment initiatives as well as experience in coordinating and helping to deliver clinical trials across a range of specialties supporting Urgent Public Health research including vaccine trials. Job Description The post holder will support the development of high-quality clinical research in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements and the Universitys research governance processes. They will assist the Head of Research, Ethics, Governance and Compliance in providing assurance to key stakeholders that the protection and promotion of the interests of patients and the public is a fundamental part of university health and social care research. A Fitness Instructor is responsible for conducting fitness programs and assessments to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while promoting the facilities and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

What will I be doing?

As a Fitness Instructor, you are responsible for conducting fitness programs and assessments to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Fitness Instructor will also be required to schedule adequate staff coverage. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Carry out fitness assessments on members as required
• Conduct fitness programmes and inductions
• Understand and advise members and guests on the correct usage of gym equipment
• Ensure adequate coverage of the pool, gym and reception
• Carry out regular pool tests
• Maintain cleanliness of reception, changing rooms, pool side and gym facilities
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Promote the facilities to hotel residents and perspective members

What are we looking for?

• NVQ level 2 in a sport related topic

• Previous experience in fitness industry

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with industry experience in plumbing and/or gas; offering excellent prospects for personal development.

This role is essential in providing appropriate and effective support for both learners and lecturers in the workshops. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that the area is well equipped and maintained whilst also ensuring it is up to date with all changes and developments to ensure it is up to industry standards. Teacher training can be provided for the right individual however this aspiration is not essential for the role.
