Whilst on probation all contracts will be a minimum of 24 gym floor hours, this is to ensure you earn a guaranteed minimum salary. Your earning will increase as you establish your PT clients and improve your earning potential.

PT sessions have a sliding scale, the more you deliver the more your take home earning potential is.

This role has a starting salary of £29,697 per annum based on a 36-hour week, rising up to £31,848 per annum. Enhanced rates of pay are available for occasional bank holidays, weekends and sleep-ins.

Our Residential Workers turn our Residential Houses into Residential Homes and this is no different for Ruth House which is our home dedicated to caring and supporting children and young people with autism and/or learning disabilities.

Our requirements

This role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification. If you do not currently hold this qualification (or equivalent) but are successful in the interview and meet the enrolment criteria (including English and Maths skills), you will be enrolled in a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, subject to funding.

In additional to the above, to meet the criteria of the Level 3 Diploma, you must have lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years you must also have the right to remain and work in the United Kingdom for the duration of the study programme. Failure to achieve the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or losing your right to remain and work in the United Kingdom may result in the termination of your employment.

Surrey has both urban and rural areas and our residential workers will be expected to have a valid driving licence to drive in the UK and access to a vehicle, to support our young people to attend appointments, activities or trips as agreed. SEND Learning Support Assistant
To commence January 2025
36.5 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks per annum)Our Learning Support Assistants play a vital role in assisting students with differing needs and abilities to maximise their potential and achievement. This role would suit someone, with or without existing experience, with a desire to make a difference to the life chances of students. In addition, if you are a graduate and considering teaching, this would be an excellent start to your career. Other qualities required include patience, excellent communication and motivational skills, and being able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team building good relationships with colleagues and students. Experience of supporting students or relevant qualifications are advantageous although full training will be offered to the right candidate. A desire to actively contribute to the learning, personal and social needs of students, while encouraging independence is required. Key duties will include assisting and advancing learning of identified students in a range of settings including small group work or 1:1 sessions and supporting up to 4 EHCP’s within a class.
