PRIMARY PURPOSE: To serve as an Air Operations Center (AOC) Formal Training Unit (FTU) Instructor and subject matter expert. Responsible for oversight of AOC FTU lessons; training students on operational level warfare command and control through the five divisions of the AOC, coordinating and de-conflicting blocks of instruction, training schedules, and lesson execution; as a subject matter expert (SME) in the assigned area.

DUTIES:

1. Plans, organizes, coordinates, directs, and implements course development and instruction.
2. Applies military AOC Team experience.
3. Develops practical training exercises.
4. Evaluates instructional programs and participates in special projects for the formal training unit.

• You will plan, direct, manage and control all aspects of acquisition and delivery of Information Technology (IT)/ Information Management (IM) systems.
• You will develop IT/IM acquisition strategies to determine the most efficient means for contracting various phases of IT/IM systems acquisition.
• You will direct the development of economic analysis/return on investment on technologies used or proposed for implementation.

1. Assesses all training programs and processes within STARCOM to identify where/how the application of education and training technology and new teaching/learning strategies can improve quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.
2. Delivers various analysis sets that are regimented on monthly, semi-annual or annual basis.
3. Represents the STARCOM S2/3E with a variety of organizational and functional area expertise.
4. Develops new methods for testing and evaluating the effectiveness of planning, programming, and budget actions/ processes in support of major Space Force mission and operational plans.

Designs and develops curricula to meet the diverse learning needs of an incarcerated adult population.

Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.

• Develops and assesses USSOCOM requirements/capabilities and assists in the acquisition guidance necessary to develop, process, field, and sustain all special operations training systems.
• Serves as a USSOCOM lead for the Doctrine, Operations, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, Policy (DOTmLPF-P) review and endorsement process supporting the SOF Enterprise.
• Represents USSOCOM as a decision-making member within working groups, integrated product teams, and committees where joint identification, validation, and prioritization of SOF-peculiar requirements and training systems are determined.
• Provides requirements management and acquisition guidance when performance characteristics, training requirements, scheduling, and cost baselines may not be met.
• Incumbent is responsible for ensuring that Classified National Information Protection security disciplines are fully
  covered from a policy and programmatic viewpoint to ensure overall information protection requirements meet
  mission requirements.

Maintains and evaluates an accurate record of progress attained by the students and redesigns program if necessary to meet individual needs.

• Communicates with military officers, military enlisted personnel, and civilian employees to determine the specific types of military actions that are required to support the needs of civilian and military personnel.
• Receives, reviews, coordinates, prepares, finalizes, and tracks a wide variety of military personnel actions.
• Files correspondence in accordance with Army Information Management System (ARMIS).
• Creates copies, edits, calculates, revises, retrieves, stores, and prints a wide range of documents in final form from handwritten materials.

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of clerical/technical duties in support of civilian and military training programs.

DUTIES:

• Assists ln the management of military technical training allocations and the selection process for no-name allocations to include Officer/Enlisted PME.
• Assists Training Technician with civilian training program.
• Manages and/or assists in the management of Professional Military Education.
• Use Multiple Office Automation Applications.

• You will review and provide feedback for Government and/or Contractor submitted curriculum material.
• You will assist in the validation of the material and in the preparation of the material for implementation of new or revised Course of Instruction (COI).
• You will use a systems approach to plan and coordinate course curricula development, revision, and implementation.
• You will maintain all audit trail items required at the course level.
• You will assist Course Supervisors to collect and summarize data on Training Quality Indicator reports (TQI).

The Research Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing individuals to determine their qualification for inclusion in research protocols, responsible for understanding the regulatory guidelines that guide the conduct of research. Has continuing responsibility for all the following functions, but not limited to:

• Responsible for providing local-level research to support facility research.
• Demonstrates professionalism by building, supporting, and creating alignments for data management best practices, research initiatives, and innovation through collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

This position is part of the Pathways Internship Program and is located at the Central Office or an institution in the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).

Observes and assists the supervising Education staff in organizing files, researching vendors/partnerships/reentry service providers/programs, compiling reports for further evaluations, developing graphs/tables of statistical data, making calls and collecting data, assembling training materials, assisting with staff visits, and e-mailing general information.

Receives on-the-job training of instructor work.
