What is the job role?

The Adult Education Service is positioned in the Employment, Skills & Adult Education team within the Council’s Regeneration and Economy Directorate. The strategic intent of the service is to maximise the employability of adults, so they can progress into work, further learning/training, or engage in voluntary, social and community activities.

Who are we looking for?

For all roles you will have up to date knowledge of curriculum practice and issues, and relevant teaching experience within a community-based adult education context. You will need to demonstrate the ability to deliver an (in)formal, culturally competent, and inclusive curriculum to raise aspirations and make a difference to residents from diverse backgrounds within the city.

You will have experience of setting individual targets and evaluating learner progress and achievements through both accredited and non-accredited provision. You must evidence a good understanding of equity and inclusion, safeguarding and Prevent and be proactive in relation to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,000 per month with annual increase

Schedule: 5.5 days work week

Weekdays:

• Morning shift: 7.45am - 3.15pm

OR

• Afternoon shift: 1.45pm - 9.15pm

Weekend:

• Saturday 7.45am - 1.15pm

OR

• Sunday: 7.45am - 1.15pm

Public holidays

• Morning shift: 7.45am - 1.15pm

ICT TRAINER CUM EXECUTIVE - Jan 2025

• To support the ICT Programme of the Authority and perform basic administrative tasks such as IT inventory and asset management.
• Enrichment Training Residential Multimedia ICT Trainer will plan and execute
• E- Learning Support
• CCA – Infocom/New media training
• Photography & Videography
• Use of Green screen /Chroma key effect in video
• Web Design o Apps Development
• Provide expertise advice and work on school ICT projects
• E-learning awareness program
• PowerPoint Optimizing technique - Podcasting - Acrobat Professional - Useful internet resources for teaching & learning - Educational Games Building - Video editing - Website building

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

1. Trainer cum IT Executive must have relevant IT qualification from recognized institution and must be a Singaporean

2. Trainer cum IT Executive must have at least 3 years of experience in providing training in Information and Communication Technologies in primary schools.

3. Trainer cum IT Executive must be able to perform basic administrative tasks such as IT inventory and asset management.

Contract Period - 1 year

Working hours - Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
