St. Stephen’s Catholic Primary School is a welcoming place to be. The school provides a nurturing environment where pupils learn well. The children, staff and governors of St. Stephen’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher who can make a significant contribution to the leadership and management of our school. As Deputy Headteacher, you will work alongside our Headteacher to provide vision, direction and leadership, in order to build on our many strengths and to support and lead our school into the future.
We are looking for someone who is:
• A practising Catholic committed to maintaining and extending the Catholic ethos of the school through personal example.
• An effective, innovate and enthusiastic leader with an ability to motivate, empower and inspire colleagues through highly effective interpersonal skills.
• Able to set an excellent example of classroom practice and demonstrate commitment to high expectations of children’s behaviour and attainment.
• A highly motivated teacher with proven leadership skills and experience of successfully leading aspects of whole school improvement.
• Committed to working in partnership with the Headteacher, Senior Management Team, Governors and the wider school community.
• Able to drive forward developments in the curriculum.
• Keen to keep up to date with current education initiatives and be proactive when managing change.
