CACI is looking for an experienced information technology (IT) trainer to support our customers at US Central Command at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL. This position is contingent upon the pending contract award.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The Information Technology Trainer will develop and conduct a classroom-style class in an online university format for Medical Information Services students. The training will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality end-user Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) support, administer medical information systems, and acquire the DoD IAT Level 2 certification required for network administrative rights.
A successful candidate will have the following skills:
Ability to train personnel by conducting formal virtual-online and on-site/in-person classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and computer-based training.
Ability to conduct research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepare appropriate training catalogs
Ability to work independently or with team.
Ability to develop all instructor materials to include course outlines, background material, and training aids
Ability to develop all student material to include manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms
Ability to teach DoD 8570 training to include CompTIA A+ and Security+ as well as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, virtualization, storage, and networking
Ability to teach Healthcare IT Operations courses based on customer’s operational environment
Excellent technical writing skills
Excellent communication skills to clearly convey use of the software
Excellent skills using Microsoft Office products – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Excellent ability to present clearly to an audience in terms the user understands
Experience training hardware and software in Windows environments
Experience training difficult or unwilling participants
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
CompTIA A+ and Security+ certification
Cisco CCNA and CCNP certification
Must be Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI)
2 years' experience in technical training
2 years' experience specifically conducting CompTIA and Cisco courses

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$67,100-$141,000
