What You’ll Get to Do:

• You are responsible for providing world-class Cl Surveillance Course {CSC) instruction.
• Plan, conduct, and-debrief instruction of discreet CI surveillance operations in support of Cl missions (JAW EO 12333, the Intelligence Authorization Act, and the DoD 5240./6) so that graduates can proficiently conduct discreet CI surveillance and closely observe the activities of a person of CI interest without compromising a Cl investigation or operation.
• Deliver classroom-based instruction and assess student performance in field exercises that frequently exceed 8-hours a day, includes weekends, and requires travel within the NCR. Travel within CONUS is required up to seven (7) times per year for two weeks each time.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Pfizer’s Machine Learning Hub is seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced machine learning researcher to design and implement new machine learning tools to accelerate drug discovery. As a member of our Machine Learning Research team, you will design new approaches to derive insights from Pfizer’s proprietary data and external datasets to generate testable hypotheses across the drug discovery continuum with a focus on extracting biological knowledge. The individual will also design, establish, and manage internal and external collaborations to advance Pfizer’s ML capabilities. Role Responsibilities

Principal downstream application domains include indication expansion, target identification, disease mechanism elucidation, and partnering with practitioners in these areas to advance the state-of-the-art.

• Development and implementation of advanced machine learning models specifically designed for analyzing heterogeneous biological data. This includes data from genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and other biological sources.

Qualifications

• Formal training in Biology, Computational Biology, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline
• PhD and 2+ years of relevant research experience in developing machine/deep learning-based solutions and a sincere interest for computational life sciences
• Hands-on experience in handling, processing, integrating, and analyzing large heterogenous biological data sets related to industrial drug discovery research (e.g., sc/snRNAseq, ATAC-seq, genomics, proteomics, etc.)
• Proven expertise in developing machine learning for computational biology
• Highly creative person with outstanding problem-solving skills to tackle complex analysis tasks in a timely fashion
• Strong publication record and demonstrated contributions to the field
• Solid expertise with ML libraries such as PyTorch, Lightning is mandatory! Programming skills in Python must be top-notch. Experience with relevant libraries of the Python scientific stack is a big plus.

The Internal Medicine Research Unit (IMRU) is committed to finding cures for metabolic diseases and related complications. Our goal is to build a research team of driven scientists focused on developing a deep mechanistic understanding of the metabolic pathways driving obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and renal disease. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conceptualize and design experiments.

• Organize and conduct in vitro/ in vivo/ ex vivo studies independently (including preparation, data collection, interpretation, and presentation).

• Maintain awareness of scientific and technical developments in the field.

• Author manuscripts for quality publications in top-tier journals.

• Interface with an interdisciplinary team of scientists in the Internal Medicine Research Unit and engage in both target exploration and driving established projects in our portfolio.

• Quantify and translate experimental results to advance the understanding of how metabolic pathways and complex physiological systems are altered by diseases and how they respond to therapeutic interventions.

• Plan, develop, and execute training certification for CI Special Agents to gain advanced knowledge to conduct Cl collection and operations in accordance with applicable laws, strategies, and policies in a UTS environment.
• Deliver classroom-based instruction and assess student performance in field exercises that frequently exceed an 8-hour day, includes weekends, and requires travel within the NCR and CONUS

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• TS/SCI and CI polygraph or ability to obtain poly.

• Must be a graduate from an accredited CI Special Agent credentialing school and an advanced source handling course.

• Must have demonstrated expertise in UTS verifiable through demonstrated knowledge attained through a combination of industry training, DoD training, or academia; demonstrated skills attained through verifiable assignments exercising increased levels of responsibility; demonstrated abilities through attaining DoD or Federal Government recognized UTS training. Examples of this training include: UTS Tradecraft Seminar, UTS Foundational Operations Course, Emerging and Disruptive Technologies, Technical Signals and Security Countermeasures, or Technical Tradecraft for HUMINT.

• Experience in CI Collection or Offensive CI Operations, CI/l-IUMINT Targeting, Threat Finance, or Offensive Technical Operations.

• Seven (7) years' experience adapting CI Collection or Offensive CI Operations to a UTS ecosystem.

Leidos Innovations Center is looking for a senior research scientist in formal methods and cyber-physical systems who has experience in developing state-of-the-art automated reasoning technologies that enable production of high-assurance software and software-intensive systems.

Primary Responsibilities

The senior research scientist will serve in the role of senior of chief scientist on contract R&D programs, engaging or supporting the engagement of customers to develop new business opportunities and leading teams of researchers and engineers in the development, adaptation, and extension of innovative approaches and solutions in automated reasoning applied research. The focus of this research is the generation of assurance evidence for critical software, at scale.

The innovative technical solutions will advance the state of the art while addressing long-term problems of importance to national security.  As such, strong candidates will have successful, proven, and demonstrable experience winning and contributing to proposals and winning competitive CRAD efforts and then leading high-performing teams in the development and integration of software-based solutions for customers such as DARPA and other branches of the Department of Defense.

Basic Qualifications

• M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field with at least 6 years of industrial/academic experience making significant contributions to formal verification, developing technologies such as program analysis, constraint-solving, symbolic execution, or theorem proving. Ph.D. in technical domain above is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience with programming languages such as Java, Scala, C/C++, Ruby, Rust, or Python
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience:
  • applying formal methods, using technologies such as theorem provers for first-order logic and higher-order logic, proof assistants, solvers, or other automated reasoning tools and/or
  • conducting applied research areas of CPS such as autonomous vehicles, smart sensors, or Internet of Things, fusing data collected from cyber and physical systems to develop novel approaches to address emerging technical challenges in domains relevant to U.S. national security.
• Qualified candidates must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance with potential eligibility for Top Secret (no clearance needed to start).

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or in areas related to low-level systems, software correctness
• Experience applying the application of formal methods in fundamental research contexts, to problems in complex domains, under conditions of uncertainty, and dynamic and evolving technical challenges
• Demonstrable experience extending formal methods tools for new challenges
• Experience proposing, winning, and executing work with customers such as DARPA
• Experience customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true technical challenges and requirements associated with opportunities, recommending alternative technical approaches, and shaping future opportunities
• Experience forming strong teams composed of members from academia and industry for competitive CRAD opportunities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and oral skills in communicating technical information with an ability to present complex technical information clearly and coherently
